3 Parts Clean-up Removable Bowl Tank Toilet Paper Roll Deflector Shield Carefully remove the bowl and empty the contents into a toilet. Wash and rinse the bowl. Replace the bowl. If desired, a solution of household disinfectant can also be used. Rinse with clean water to remove soap residue. Do immerse this product. Seat Removable Bowl Base 3

4 Consumer Information Assembly IMPORTANT! Please keep these instructions for future reference, as they contain important information. Please read these instructions before assembly and use of this product. Requires three C (LR14) alkaline batteries for operation (not included). Adult assembly is required. Tool needed for battery installation: Phillips screwdriver (not included). Do not use this product on a padded toilet seat. Connectors WARNING To prevent injury from falls, never stand on this product. 1 Fit the connector on the seat into the connector on the tank. Hint: If the connectors don't fit together easily, do not force them. Turn one of the connectors over and try again! Tank Seat 2 IMPORTANT! Before attaching the tank to the seat, be sure you fasten the connectors. Follow the instructions in step 1. Insert and snap the tabs on the tank into the slots in the seat. 4

5 Assembly Battery Installation Tabs 1,5V x 3 C (LR14) Shown Actual Size Base 3 Slots Insert and snap the tabs on the seat into the slots in the base. Hint: The seat/tank assembly is designed to be removed from the base for use on a regular toilet. Please refer to the instructions on page 8 to remove the base. Hole Toilet Paper Roll Locate the battery compartment on the back of the tank. Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Lift to remove the battery compartment door. Insert three C (LR14) alkaline batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life. Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/EC). Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities (Europe only). 4 Insert and snap the end of the toilet paper roll into the hole in the side of the tank. 5

6 Battery Safety Information In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage: Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak. Never short-circuit the battery terminals. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging. If removeable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision. Removable Bowl 1 Deflector Shield (Optional) Fun to Learn Potty Fit the bowl into the base. If desired, attach the deflector shield for use with boys. Fit the deflector shield into the seat and push down. Lid Power Switch 2 Back View Slide the power switch ON. Hint: Slide the power switch OFF when not using the potty for a long period of time. Open (or close) the lid on the seat. Listen to fun phrases or sound effects! 6

7 Fun to Learn Potty Hint: If your child does not hear a reward after going potty: The batteries may be weak or dead or you may need to reset the electronics. Please remove the batteries and replace with three, new alkaline batteries. The ready sensor may have turned off. Be sure your child activates the ready sensor by moving every five minutes. The ready sensor detects contrast in lighting. If your child eliminates a very small amount of urine, the ready sensor may not recognize the change and your child will not hear a reward. 5 Toilet Paper Roll 3 Have your child sit down on the seat sing-a-long! Motion (created when your child sits on the seat) turns the ready sensor ON. If your child sits on the seat for more than five minutes and does not move, the ready sensor goes into sleep mode and turns off. If this should happen, simply tell your child to lean forward and then sit back (or simply move!) to turn power ON and sing-a-long! Flusher It s toilet paper time. Turn the toilet paper roll for a fun song! Now, flush the toilet, listen and sing-a-long Hurray! 4 When your child goes potty, listen to a fun reward! 7

8 Training Seat PRESS PRESS PRESS PRESS 1 Turn the potty on its side. Press the tabs in the slots. Remove the base from the seat/tank assembly. 2 IMPORTANT! We do not recommend using the seat on a padded toilet seat. The seat seat/tank assembly will not fit securely on a padded toilet seat and may damage it. Make sure the standard toilet seat is down. Fit the seat/tank assembly onto the toilet seat. Pull up on the seat/tank to be sure it is secure. 8
