1 Q Level 2 Art History, Examine subjects and themes in art Credits: Four 2.00 pm Friday 24 November 2006 QUESTION BOOKLET The following four areas of study are used for this external assessment: Māori Art / Taonga (traditional and contemporary) Art in Aotearoa (nineteenth century to the present) French Art (Neoclassicism to post-impressionism) New Zealand Architecture (nineteenth century to the present). There are four questions in this paper, one for each area of study. Select TWO questions, each from a different area of study. For each question, answer ONE of the two choices or. Evaluate the importance of Classical themes and subjects in French art in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
