1 Health & Safety Rules for Contractors March 2012
2 Introduction B&Q is committed to attaining and maintaining the highest standards of Fire Safety and Health and Safety Management. We are committed to ensuring that our stores remain safe places to work and shop. In achieving this we recognise that everyone has a part to play. We therefore expect all contractors, sub-contractors and their employees working in our stores and on our behalf to work with us to achieve our objectives. Co-operation and co-ordination is essential to successful health and safety management. All contractors must familiarise themselves with this document and conduct their activities in accordance with it. Failure to comply with these rules may lead to contractors' contacts with B&Q being terminated. B&Q Rules for Contractors 2012 Page 1 of 5
