2 Day 1 Welcome to Trujillo- Trujillo City Tour Upon arrival at Trujillo Airport, reception and transfer to your selected hotel will be provided. In the city tour you will visit the main Colonial Homes and Trujillo s Churches like Casa Calonge Urquiaga, Emancipation House and Iturregui Palace, Plaza de Armas, Museum of Archaeology, Cathedral, La Merced Church and Plazuela El Recreo. Return to the hotel. Overnight in: Trujillo Meals included: None Day 2 Moon s Temple & Chan Chan Archaeological Site Transfer from hotel to the Moche Valley to visit the Archaeological Site Temples of The Sun and The Moon. The Temple of the Moon was neatly decorated as it represents the spiritual center of the Moche culture. This is a result of temples built over each other for many years. In there, archaeologists have found a large number of worship objects and about 40 skeletons of slaughtered soldiers. Remains of the Aia Paec God can be found as a decoration of the upper part of the adobe walls.

3 After the visit transfer to Huanchaco where the Moche gave rise to the ceviche dish of Peruvian cuisine internationally recognized; artisanal fishing cove, where you can still appreciate the use of the old crafts known as reed horses. Lunch at restaurant overlooking the sea. After lunch visit Chan Chan, an archaeological site recognized as a World Heritage Site by Unesco. The city of Chan Chan was the capital of the Chimu Empire which was positioned in the region after the fall of the Moche Empire. It is the first and largest non-pyramidal structure built in adobe found in northern Peru. It covers an area of 200 hectares divided into nine separate citadels. Return to your hotel. Overnight in: Trujillo Meals included: Breakfast and lunch Day 3 Trujillo - El Brujo Archaeological Site - Chiclayo Transfer to Chiclayo City, along the route we will visit the archaeological complex El Brujo and the Museum of Cao. The main temple is Huaca El Brujo, as it is used for religious rituals as archaeologists found inside the ruins of a ceremonial area where the walls are decorated with iconography in high relief. The scenes decorating the walls show about 50 figures related to the cosmic world, mythical animals, shamans, warriors, and human sacrifice. The famous mummy in the world, the "Lady of Cao" was found in this temple in 2006 in a perfect state of preservation. She was the only woman who ruled the ancient Moche Empire 1,800 years ago. The Lady of Cao is also known as the "Lady of Tattoos." Ceramics, gold, silver and copper ornaments and two large gold ornate wooden clubs were found in his tomb, objects that usually belong to male governors. 4 Day 4 Royal Tombs & Huaca Rajada - Lima In the morning, we will transfer you to Huaca Rajada located at 29 km east of Chiclayo. In 1987, the archaeologist Walter Alva and his team found the tomb of Sipan, one of the most powerful governors Moche. His grave is the best representation of the splendor and power of the rulers of the Mochica culture, due to the fine gold ornaments, jewelry, and ceremonial objects found there. Then we head towards the Royal Tombs, certainly one of the most impressive and modern archaeological museums in South America.
