1 Insulin Management System GETTING YOUR SETTINGS FOR YOUR NEW PDM
2 Congratulations ON YOUR NEW PDM Your new PDM is designed to make your daily diabetes management even smoother. We are confident you will see a difference, because the changes are based on customer feedback. You can find more detailed information in the User Guide or at OmniPod s MyOmniPodTraining.com. Use this brochure to find and record your current PDM settings; it will make setting up your new PDM a breeze.
3 ABOUT YOUR NEW PDM There are many exciting new changes in how the PDM looks and works. Here are some highlights. Some will help you set up your PDM. Others will make your daily diabetes management even smoother. Additional Features > The new PDM shows the remaining amount of insulin when an extended bolus is cancelled. > The new PDM displays Daily Basal Volume on the bottom of the basal editing screen. > The number of segments for the Blood Glucose Targets, Insulin to Carbohydrate ratio and the Correction Factor > ID Screen This is the first screen you will > Updated Home Menu The new PDM has an updated > Insulin on Board The new PDM considers both > Confirmation Screens The system shows you profiles has been increased from 4 to 8. see when you turn on your PDM or when you insert a test Home menu, with new locations for the Reference Food Library and BG the correction and meal bolus for Insulin on Board (IOB) confirmation screens after you enter key settings. Write down each of your Basal rate settings. your Temp basal setting. your BG sound setting. Write down your BG goal settings. your Bolus calcs setting.
