2 A SAFE PLACE FOR YOUR TREASURE A child seat is a basic precondition for children s safety in a car. Nobody would question that. However, only a few people realise how important the child seat type and design are. Only a child seat matching the size and weight of your child can fulfil its function and protect your child from danger. That is why we are offering you original Škoda child seats for children up to 36 kg. The child seats are fastened by safety belts or attached directly to the body of the car using the Isofix system. All the seats are designed specifically for our cars, ensuring maximum safety. In addition, they are extremely comfortable for children and feature an inspiring colourful design, low weight and ease of fitting. In addition to internal testing in Škoda Auto, the child seats have undergone a number of tests run by reputable car magazines. They always passed with excellent results, being recommended and scoring high among other child seats. All the child seats we offer comply with ECE-R44.03 or ECE-R44.04, regulations applicable in the European Union kg 0 18 kg Easybob Maxi child seat (DDT A) ISOFIX G 0/1 child seat including RWF frame for rear-facing installation (See the table at the right for seat and frame combinations together with part numbers for different car models.) Our one-part child seat, Easybob Maxi, is fitted facing the rear of the car, using a three-point seat belt. It can be mounted in the front seat if necessary, but then the passenger airbag must always be deactivated. This child seat is also easy to carry thanks to its folding handle. The harness and the pad are adjustable to the baby s size. The ISOFIX G 0/1 child seat must be used with an Isofix mounting frame. One frame, matching the direction the seat faces, always comes with the seat, a second frame can be purchased separately. The ISOFIX G 0/1 child seat features an adjustable harness and a sleeping position. If your car has Isofix fixtures in the front passenger seat (optional feature in Octavia), the child seat can be fitted there but the front airbag must be deactivated when using the rear-facing frame.

It is firmly attached to the car s body with two metal anchors. The child is restrained with a five-point harness of adjustable height. The combination of anchoring the seat to the car s body and restraining the child firmly with a five-point harness represents the highest level of safety available today. With the Top Tether version, you can also fasten the child seat with a special seat belt in the outer rear seats to restrict the forward movement of the top part of the child seat in case of frontal impact. 4 9 36 kg Wavo child seat (DDF ) kg Kid child seat (DDA ) The Wavo child seat, fitted to the outer seats in the rear, is mounted facing the front using a three-point seat belt. The child seat back is fitted with special guides to keep the seat belt in the correct position with respect to the child s size. There is also a headrest for the child. The adjustable seat back allows setting the headrest to the optimum position according to the child s size to ensure maximum comfort. The Kid child seat is fitted facing the front on the outer seats in the rear using a three-point seat belt. Its back is fitted with guides that keep the seat belt in the correct position with respect to the child s size and includes a sleeping headrest. The vertically adjustable back allows setting the headrest to the correct position according to the child s size. All original Škoda child seats have passed rigorous tests and simulations with excellent results. Their high level of safety has been confirmed by crash tests performed on Octavia and Roomster according to the Euro NCAP test procedures, where the ISOFIX G 0/1 child seats were awarded four stars (out of five), representing the best result so far.
