9 Easy Installation C21 solar roof tiles & slates are fixed following conventional roofing practice and are easily fitted by a professional roofer. Push-Fit Connections The C21e units connect together with simple click-fit connectors. Each C21e in the installation is connected to the next as they are laid onto the batten. 3. Standard Battens The nib of each C21e hooks onto the roof batten in exactly the same way as conventional tiles. There is no need for any flashings; the C21e interlocking tile interlocks directly with other units and roof tiles, and the C21e slates and C21e plain tiles use custom weatherproof interfaces. 4. Simple Fixings Each C21e uses simple fixings that only require standard roofing tools.
