1 GOLD INDUCED CYTOKINES
2 BACKGROUND / INTRODUCTION In the late stage, degenerative age-related alterations can lead to destruction and loss of function in the affected tissue structures and can be accompanied by developmental disruptions, overload and traumatic injuries. The processes underlying these complications are complex and to date poorly understood. The development of a causal therapy is therefore very difficult. Currently available drug-based therapies have a purely symptomatic effect and present numerous adverse reactions. More recent therapies, involving substances produced from the body s own blood, are virtually free of side effects. However, their tissue regeneration potential is limited. Furthermore, proteins which can facilitate tissue destruction, such as TNF alpha, are produced in high concentrations. GELSOLIN Scientific studies have now shown that the healing process following injuries, inflammations or degenerative activity is significantly compromised when a specific protein gelsolin - is in short supply. This indicates that the physiological concentration of gelsolin is pivotal in maintaining health. Gelsolin, a Ca-regulated, actin-binding, modulating protein, acts as a multi-functional cell structure and cell metabolism regulator. It plays an important protective role and, among other things, prevents the toxic reaction that arises from cell death. Moreover, gelsolin induces differentiation of the body s own cells that are essential for tissue regeneration. GELSOLIN
3 GOLDIC MEDVETICO THE CAUSAL THERAPY Goldic Medvetico can considerably increase the production of the body s own gelsolin and other important growth factors (cytokines). It is therefore of particular significance for the successful treatment of various pathological processes. Stimulation of gelsolin production Induction of further anabolic cytokines GOLDIC MEDVETICO INDICATIONS Arthrosis (light to medium degree) Tendon disorders Bursitis Sesamoiditis Protection of tissues by antagonizing free actin fragments in the cytoskeleton Inhibition of inflammatory processes Pain relief Chondroprotection Local regeneration thanks to the stimulation of dormant autologous stem cells GOLDIC MEDVETICO ADMINISTRATION A small amount of blood, previously drawn from a vein, is incubated during 24 hours in presence of defined gold particles. Subsequently, the blood cells and the gold particles are separated from the serum by centrifugation. Only the serum is used. In four sessions, over a period of approximately three weeks, it is injected into the affected area (tendon, joint, suspensory ligament, etc.). Schneider et al., publishing in process Boosts the body s own gelsolin production Recommended for all types of degenerative and inflammatory tissue processes Effective individual therapy With few side effects, as only the body s own proteins are used Effective over several years Thanks to its fundamental mode of action (antagonizes actin fragments and activates the body s own local stem cells), this procedure is superior to hitherto existing treatments GOLDIC MEDVETICO the causal and lasting therapeutic approach to secure a pain-free life for your horse!
