The date for determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be 01/12/ Sr. Sanitary Inspector: 1 Post (UR) Pay scale: Age: years. Qualification: Diploma in Sanitary Inspectors course with 5 years experience as Sanitary Inspector in Municipalities and preference will be given for working in Municipal Corporation and other Govt. or Semi Govt. organization. 2. Traffic Outdoor Clerk: - 10 Posts (7 UR, 1 SC, 1 Ex- Serviceman, 1 PwD (HH)) Pay Scale: Age: years Qualification: Matriculate or equivalent qualification. 3. Assistant Outdoor Clerk: - 5 Posts ( 3 UR, 1 OBC 1 PwD (OH-OA)) Pay Scale: Rs , Age: years, Qualification: SSC. 4. Laboratory Technician:- 1 Post(1 OBC) Pay scale: Age: below 30 years. Qualification: 1) B.SC 2) Diploma in Clinical Laboratory Technique with one year experience OR 1) Inter Science 2) Diploma in Clinical Laboratory technique with three years experience.

Assistant Flotilla Supervisor: - 4 Posts (1 SC, 1 OBC, 2 UR) Pay Scale: Rs Age: years, Qualification: Extensive marine experience of atleast 7 years and capable of taking charges of floating craft operation work and organization. Must have experience of controlling large staff. Must have good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Hindi desirable. 6. Signalman: - 2 Posts (2 UR) Pay Scale: Age: years. Qualification: Essential: XII th pass. Complete knowledge of International Code. Should be able to receive and send messages b+g98y mores and semaphore at the rate of 8 and 12 words per minute respectively. 7. Jr. Engineer (Civil): 2 Posts (1 OBC, 1 St) Pay Scale Rs Age: 18 to 28 years, Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years experience. 8. Jr. Engineer (Mechanical) Gr-I: 3 Post (1 SC, 2 UR) Pay Scale Rs Age: below 30 years, Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 years experience. 9. Driver I st Class (Marine): - 3 Posts (3 UR) Pay Scale: Age: below 40years. Qualification: Ist Class Driver s Certificate of Inland Steam or Diesel Vessels.

3 10. Jr. Engineer (Mechanical): 2 Posts (2 UR) Pay Scale: Rs , Age: years, Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Mech. Engineering with 3 years experience. 11. Clerk-cum-Time keeper: 1 Post (UR) Pay Scale: Rs , Age: Yrs, Qualification : Matriculate with atleast 3 years experience as a Clerk. 12. Diesel Mechanic: 2 Posts (2 UR) Pay Scale Rs , Age: Below 30 years, Qualification: (1) ITI in Trade of Mechanic. (2) Should have worked for five years on repairs and maintenance of Diesel Engines. (3) Passing of Trade Test. 13. Crane Diver (Upgraded): 1 Posts (1 UR) Pay Scale: Rs , Age: Below 35 years, Qualification: Shall be XII th Std. pass and experience in operation of 15 tonnes and above Cranes for a minimum period of 5 years. Mobile Cranes above 3 ½ tonnes and upto 15 tonnes and Forklifts above 3 ½ tonnes. 14. Welder: 2 Posts (1 SC, 1 ST) Pay Scale Rs , Age : Years, Qualification: Should have passed SSC and Certificate of ITI of recognized Institute in the trade of welding and having 3 years experience in heavy workshop in welding works.

4 15. Machinist: 1 Post (UR) Pay Scale: Rs , Age: Below 30 Years, Qualification: Minimum experience of 3 years in a workshop for Mechanism viz. Shapping, Stolling / Planning / Sawing / Screw letting etc. *In addition to Basic Pay, benefits like DA on Industrial Pattern, Accommodation/HRA, Gratuity, PF, Group Insurance, Conveyance, Medical facilities, Encashment of Earned Leave, etc. would be admissible as per Rules. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS / CONDITIONS: 1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. While applying for any post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above. In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand automatically cancelled. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is / are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated without any notice. 2. Relaxation as per the Govt. guidelines will be applicable to the reserved categories, for the posts reserved for them. The reserved category candidates are required to submit the relevant certificate in the prescribed format of Government of India, issued by the Competent Authority, in support of their claim. 3. All qualifications should be recognized and approved in India by AICTE / UGC / appropriate Statutory Authority. 4. The mere fact that a candidate has submitted application against the advertisement would not bestow on him/her the right to be called for written test / interview / considered for selection process.

5 5. Employees working in Central & State Government/Semi-Govt./ Govt. Autonomous Bodies/CPSEs must apply through proper channel / submit NOC at the time of interview. 6. The crucial date for determining the qualification, experience and age shall be 01/12/ The total number of projected vacancies indicated in this advertisement may increase / decrease / be cancelled at the discretion of Kandla Port Trust Management, if needed, without any further notice and without assigning any reasons thereof. 8. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he / she may submit separate applications for each post(s). 9. Written Test may be conducted, if necessary, before the interview and the candidates who pass the test will only be allowed to appear in the Personal interview. 10. The Management reserves the right to shortlist and restrict the number of candidates for interview on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed. 11. Canvassing in any form will disqualify candidate(s). 12. Applications duly typed, as per the format given herewith alongwith certified copies of all the relevant particulars should reach the Office of the Secretary, Kandla Port Trust, Administrative Office Building, Gandhidham-Kachchh, Gujarat State , on or before 21/01/ The applicant shall take a print-out of the application form from the KANDLA PORT TRUST website and send, the same duly filled in, along with recent passport size photograph affixed on the right hand corner of the application and self-attested copies of education/ experience/ age certificate(s), caste certificate, etc. 14. Kandla Port Trust will not be responsible for any postal delay / loss in transit in submission of documents within specified time. No request in this regard will be entertained. Incomplete applications or applications received late will be summarily rejected.
