That s why at Pollard Windows we don t just make great windows, we also make beautiful doors and entrance systems. Our Polardor Insulated Entrance Systems are manufactured with insulated steel or fiberglass doors and offer durability and security. Whether you choose a paintable wood or low maintenance vinyl frame, there is a design to meet your needs. Select from a wide variety of decorative lites with both matching sidelites and transoms. Increase the energy efficiency and enhance the curb appeal of your home with a Polardor Insulated Entrance System. 3

4 A cut above the rest Solid Wood Lock Block Each door is equipped with a solid wood lock block to ensure permanent attachment of security hardware. Solid Wood Frame The insulating properties of wood will add warmth to your home. All wood components are pressure-treated to protect against decay. Also, all frame joints are sealed to resist water penetration. A maintenance-free vinyl clad frame is also available. Tough Steel Skin Durable 24 gauge steel skin resists warping, swelling or twisting like conventional wood doors. Hot-dipped galvanized steel assures long term protection and an excellent base for finishing. Weatherstripping The closed cell weatherstripping used on the Polardor sill resists the absorption of water so that in cold winter months it does not freeze and lose its tight seal. On the remainder of the door frame, a foam compression weatherstrip is used to provide an optimal, secure seal around the perimeter of the door which in winter keeps warm air in and keeps cold air out. Polyurethane Foam Core The insulation value is at least six times greater than a solid wood door. With an R value of 12 it is the perfect solution for your home. Aluminum Sill Constructed of durable 1/16" aluminum and features raised ribs which allow for good traction. Low profile sill available for 36" wide doors for wheelchair accessibility. Water Trap Sill Design Driving rain is trapped in this unique, PVC channel and released to the outside through the weep hole. A weep hole cover helps prevent insects from entering below the sill. Fiberglass Subsill The durable 3/32" fiberglass subsill resists rotting and cracking. The continuous sill running under the jambs prevents jamb rot. Sweepless Door By eliminating the need for a door sweep there is no sweep to tear or adjust. Vinyl Clad Frame Our doors can be purchased with a tough 0.065" thick, vinyl clad low maintenance frame. It withstands all types of weather without peeling, flaking, pitting or corroding. Available in Pearl White, Silversand or Autumn Ivory colors. To give it a more traditional look optional brickmold can be purchased. Also available in wood frame. These doors are manufactured using a fiberglass or an insulated steel door and incorporate larger glass lites to create a beautiful view. Choose from completely clear lites to decorative leaded lites depending on your style. Terrace doors come complete with a smooth sliding screen door to let the fresh air in and keep the bugs out. 8

9 Brickmold Vinyl brickmold is available as an option for Liberty doors. It is available in three standard colors Silversand, Pearl White and Autumn Ivory (painted option) to coordinate with your choice of windows. Hinges All Polardor and Terrace door systems come standard with durable galvanized zinc hinges. Optional brass hinges are available to match other brass accents in your home. Self closing hinges are also available. Sill protector Optional sill protector is available to shield door sills during construction. Constructed of 1/16" vinyl, the protector snaps on tightly to prevent dents and scratches that may occur on the job site. Multipoint Hardware Fiberglass doors are available with multipoint hardware. Offered in antique brass, polished brass, oil rubbed bronze and satin chrome for any decor.
