3 Unpacking And Installation Although it is neither complicated to install nor difficult to operate your Audio Distributor, a few minutes of your time is required to read manual for a properly wired installation and becoming familiar with its many features and how to use them. Please take a great care in unpacking your Audio Distributor and do not discard the carton and other packing materials. They may be needed with when moving your set and are required if it ever becomes necessary to return your set for service. Never place the unit radiators, in front of heating vents, in excessively humid or dusty location to avoid early damage and for your years of quality use. Connect your complementary components as illustrated in the following page. The instruction for use shall state that the apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus. : TO REDUCE THE. 5 Front Panel Controls 1. POWER SWITCH This is used to turn ON/OFF DC Power. 2. INPUT LEVEL ADJUST (CH 1 ~ CH4) This is for adjusting level of Input volume. 3. INPUT LEVEL ADJUST (CH 5 ~ CH 8) This is for adjusting level of Input volume. 4. OUTPUT LEVEL ADJUST (CH 1 ~ CH 4) This is for adjusting level of output volume. 5. OUTPUT LEVEL ADJUST (CH 5 ~ CH 8) This is for adjusting level of output volume. (Mono: CH A, Stereo: CH A/B) 4

6 Rear Panel Controls PWR RMT IN SIGNAL OUTPUT SIGNAL INPUT CH A+B CH CH - B LINK CH - A A+B A,B CH B CH A TERMINAL( For DC ) This is for connecting to the switched output terminal of Power Distributor (EPD-2083) 2. REMOTE CONTROL INPUT TERMINAL This is the remote control terminal for Emergency & Remote Broadcast. Even though Power is OFF, you can broadcast since power is supplied by remote control automatically. 3. CH B SIGNAL OUTPUT JACK This is for connecting to the signal output of Power Amplifiers (EPA-2123/2243/2403) 4. CH A SIGNAL OUTPUT JACK This is for connecting to the signal output of Power Amplifiers (EPA-2123/2243/2403) 5. CH A, CH A/B CONVERT SWITCH This is a switch for converting Mono or Stereo signal input. (Mono: CH A, Stereo: CH A/B) 6. CH B SIGNAL INPUT JACK This is connected to the output signal terminal of Pre-amplifier(EPR-2722) or Mixer for using Stereo. 7. SIGNAL INPUT LINK JACK This is for parallel link between CH A signal input Jack and the signal output jack of Pre-amplifier or Power Amplifier internally and then connected to external output. 8. CH A SIGNAL INPUT JACK This is connected to the output signal of Pre-amplifier(EPR-2722) or Mixer for stereo. 5
