6 TECHNOLOGY 3 Point force distribution No knee brace can prevent all foreseeable knee injuries but Leatt laboratory engineers and other medical professionals have come up with a radical design to help further reduce injuries over what traditional cage type knee brace designs can do. OUTER CALF INNER KNEE UPPER THIGH The C-Frame knee brace is based on three point force distribution, a super stiff mono hinge design and a single hinge system. The 3DF foam itself is very light and flexible when moved slowly. Force introduction Foam reaction Immediately after impact our 3DF foam absorbs the energy and its memory effect allows the foam to return to its original position, preparing it for the next impact.
