2 Who we are Our Firm was formed by the merger of John Aguilar & Asociados, Ltd., and Bufete Castillo Love, two firms with a long history of serving major national and international businesses in complex commercial transactions and dispute resolution in Central America. Today the firm is a totally integrated Central American law firm with offices in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. We also manage our clients' legal affairs with the same high levels of legal excellence and service quality throughout the Caribbean, through our structured affiliations with top quality law firms in all the major civil law and common law jurisdictions in the region.

At the time of independence, almost 200 years ago, members of the Aguilar family had already achieved prominence in the practice of law in Costa Rica and El Salvador. As the first integrated law firm in region, we have accumulated a wealth of international experience. Our goal is to make dealing with legal issues in Central America, Panama and the Caribbean as simple as possible.
