12 V - s k i n g l o V E S After a longtime demand from their partner riders Samshield has created their first riding gloves: the V-Skin. Samshield has followed the same strategy than when they created the successful premium helmet: analyze existing product on the market and make a large survey with plenty of riders before to start the design. All riders answered that they would like improvement regarding durability, breathability, grip, flexibility, thinness, design. V-Skin gloves have been tested by Kevin Staut during one year before being launched on the market. The V-skin gloves are made of 4 different materials placed at the smartest position in order to give the best answer to exigent riders: Ultra thin perforated lambskin leather: offer maximum comfort, airflow and lightweight Strong Suede fabric base fingerprinted with real silicone: offers exceptional added grip, hand-to-horse connection, flexibility as well as extreme durability Strong version of Lycra: offers extreme flexibility for a high end comfort and constant fitting Spandex size is doubled in order to always get a perfect fitting with the wrist Available in black, blue, brown, grey, white, black-swarovski, blue-swarovski, brown-swarovski, white-swarovski 10 sizes available for the standard version: from 6 to 10,5 5 sizes available for the Swarovski version: from 6 to 8

The Samshield sweater is manufactured in the same factory than famous Abercrombrie&Fitch in order to provide an elegant superior protection against wind and cold. Leather patch and Swarovski stones on the woman version successfully mixes technic and style.

16 W O R K S H O P It is at Samshield workshop which is located in France that helmets are meticulously assembled, tested, refined and sometimes customized before being shipped to their rider. To cover outer shells which are made of high quality polycarbonate from premium motorcycle helmets, Samshield uses noble materials such as genuine Alcantara, classic or exotic leathers (python, lizard, stingray, crocodile) or Crystal Fabric Swarovski. Particular attention is paid to the exotic leathers selection in the same suppliers as the biggest French leather merchants. The Swarovski stones setting is also made in the Samshield workshop. The Swarovski crystals are clinched one by one on the helmets. This operation needs two hours of goldsmith work. On request the workshop is able to print the name of the rider on the helmet strap. Those manual assemblies ensure strengthened security and finish high quality. Note: all the customizations can be done on a helmet which has already been used.

18 A F T E R S A L E S S E R V I C E & M A I N T E N A N C E A F T E R S A L E S S E R V I C E In case of violent impact on a helmet, the inner shell (in polystyrene) will crush and lose its shape in order to absorb the impact. From then on, the polystyrene shell will never have the required thickness to absorb another impact if you fall again. This is the reason why we have to change the helmet in case of important impact. However, it s not the case with Samshield helmets: after disassembled and checked the helmet outer shell, Samshield proposes to change only the damaged polystyrene shell. In this way, the helmet can continue to ensure its protective role, avoiding buying a new helmet. This is a service, but not a guarantee. M A I N T E N A N C E To clean the outer shell of the helmets (Shadowmatt or Premium Alcantara) it is recommended to use cleaning wipes or simply a wet sponge with natural soap. Helmets should be left to dry naturally. To maintain the leather top and strap of the Premium helmets, it is recommended to use boot polish with silicone (that will waterproof the leather). To clean the liner it is possible to use a washing machine but best way is hand wash with soap because it doesn t need a 30 /1h washing program! For the 2 versions (Premium Alcantara and Shadowmatt) a renovation package including the polystyrene replacement plus the potential other repairs is charged 30. This package includes time spent, spare parts and freight charges.
