The new mid-range Olympus Stylus TG-860 features the industry s widest *21mm zoom lens in the active lifestyle camera market, POV recording functionality and advanced ruggedness. Its 180-degree capable tilt screen enables easy composition for underwater shooting and super-wide angle selfies. Its GPS feature uses the most reliable technology of its kind with high-speed and accuracy; built-in Wi Fi provides easy data transfer and camera control flexibility. With the ability to shoot sweeping outdoor vistas at its super-wide end, and flattering portraits at its longest, the Stylus TG-860 s zoom lens gives you the greatest framing flexibility amongst all active lifestyle cameras in the market today. A new Sportcam mode captures super-wide POV movies and photos with recording options that are specially tailored for action sports. Movies can be captured at a smooth Full HD 60P quality, at high speeds of 120 or 240 fps (at lower resolutions for exciting super slow-motion movies), or even timelapsed. The outdoor-visible screen lets you easily capture high and low angle photos and videos, and makes underwater camera handling much more comfortable. The auto-rotating display, a special front of camera Face button, and selfie-optimised features all combine to help you take better selfies. The Stylus TG-860 Tough s onboard GPS works quickly and provides location data with high accuracy. It is also compatible with the QZSS and GLONASS systems to ensure that your photos are accurately geo-tagged no matter where you are in the world. You can even pre-load satellite locations to speed up initial satellite acquisition via the free Olympus Image Track smart device app, or the Olympus A-GPS Utility for computers. Five main Tough capabilities: Waterproof up to 15 m, dustproof, shockproof up to 2.1 m, freezeproof up to -10 C, and crushproof up to 100kgf With improvements to waterproof sealing technology, a waterproof performance up to 15m is achieved with the OLYMPUS STYLUS TG-860 Tough. Shock-absorbing mechanisms with shock-absorbing materials placed inside the camera, and a double chassis construction create shockproof performance for drops from a height of up to 2.1m, and toughness that can withstand loads up to 100kgf. In addition to the capability to withstand up to -10 C in low temperature environments, a dustproof design is used which brings out the true value of this camera when used in punishing environments such as underwater, on mountains, rocky slopes, etc., where other digital devices are susceptible to damage and failure. 2. Tilting LCD monitor, Face button, and Self Portrait mode for fun selfies and shooting at any angle This camera is equipped with a 180 tilting LCD monitor for shooting at any angle. The new Face button on the front of the camera can be used as a shutter release button. With a design that lets user easily shoot with the Face button or shutter release button, user can hold the camera with either hand. Invert display setting is also included which detect the camera s direction and LCD position, and automatically switches the display. When used together with the Face button on the front of the camera, freedom of shooting from high and low angles is possible in a way never before available on any camera. Additionally, Self Portrait mode is now included on the mode dial. When this mode is selected, the camera automatically adjusts the focus on the person holding it, and adjusts the brightness of the AF Illuminator. Selfies are easy with the easy-to-see selftimer and countdown display on the LCD monitor mm super wide-angle, 5x optical zoom lens Superb optical technology cultivated over many years is crystallised in the Olympus TG-860 Tough s superwide 21mm, 5x zoom lens. The waterproof, splashproof zoom lens is not only excellent for landscape photos but is perfect for photography in cramped shooting spaces, indoors and outdoors. This lens compensates for distortion that easily occurs around the edges of images captured on a wide-angle lens. In wide angle selfies, the camera compensates for distortion of faces in the corners of shots that may appear to be unnaturally stretched. 4. Sportcam mode captures active scenes with a variety of functions The new Sportcam mode features a variety of shooting functions for optimal action shooting. The 21mm lens provides a very wide 90 diagonal view for movies, making it easy to keep subjects in the frame even in sports scenes with a great deal of movement. When the camera is attached to a backpack or belt using the Sport Holder CSCH-123, the user can initiate recording by pressing the face button located on the front of the camera during outdoor activities where it may normally be difficult to hold the camera e.g., kayaking, rafting, and climbing.

5 Sportcam mode features: a) Smooth 60p movies Recording progressive movies at 60 frames per second is possible. In addition to Full HD image quality, user can enjoy movies that reproduce smooth and natural motion p, p, p are available. b) High-Speed Movie This function lets user record 240 fps (640x360), and 120 fps (854x480) High-Speed Movies. Split-second movements can then be viewed in slow motion playback. c) Time Lapse Movie This function lets user record moving sports scenes in specific time frames (0.5, 1, 3, 6, 12, 30 sec.) and play them back as a movie with dropped frames. d) Sport Burst shooting This function lets user set a shutter interval from 0.05 to 60 seconds for sequential shooting. Because user can select the optimal shutter interval for a variety of sports, instantaneous movement that is difficult to shoot and normal scenes are easy to capture without missing a shot. 5. Built-in Wi-Fi for linking to a smartphone and GPS a) Wi-Fi With built-in Wi-Fi *7 and the iphone and Android compatible smartphone application Olympus Image Share, it is possible to wirelessly connect the camera to a smartphone. Photos captured with the camera can be transferred on the spot, shared via social networking services, and a smartphone can be used as a remote controller for shooting. The smartphone can be used for smooth operations such as Touch AF Shutter, letting user activate the shutter in Program mode and iauto mode while viewing images on the smartphone s Live View screen. Initial settings are easy by just scanning the QR code displayed on the camera screen with a smartphone. b) GPS The ability to record location information in images, as well as the route traveled to an SD card is the perfect tool for the outdoors and outdoor documenting activities and travels. Not only is the OLYMPUS STYLUS TG- 860 Tough equipped with GPS, but it is also compatible with GLONASS and QZSS for better positioning accuracy than ever before. Additionally, the computer software Olympus A-GPS Utility or smartphone application Olympus Image Track can be used to obtain satellite orbital information ahead of time via the Internet for drastically reduced times from the beginning of positioning until information is received.
