BAUMAN, JOHN Booth I work in the tradition of the American art potter, exploring designs and expressions in functional pottery. BEBER, KRISTY JO Booth Each piece is formed on the potter s wheel. Glaze designs are drawn free-hand, leaving some raw clay exposed. Black & white combo, plus blues & greens with raw clay. Gas fired to 2350 degrees. BELSKY, LISA SIMPLY TANGLED CERAMICS Booth 24 The work is wheel thrown using white stoneware clay. Each piece is hand carved to create the surface designs. All glazes are formulated and mixed from original recipes. The work is fired to cone 6 in oxidation (electric kilns). BOVE, JASON BOVE POTTERY STUDIO Booth 99 I strive to create a body of work that is functional, yet can stand alone as a piece of visual art. DRAKE, BETTE Booth 148 Clay is a basic material, and a forgiving medium. You can do almost anything with it. I am influenced, like many potters, by historical pottery and natural forms. I like making primarily functional pieces, and use them as blank canvases for decoration. High fire glazes are not totally predictable, so one must leave room for things to happen.

EGENOLF, ADAM Booth 88 My intent for using crystalline glazing on my work is to show the many different ways that these glazes can be used. Crystalline glaze becomes a liquid at its peak temperature and emulates different characteristics of water movement. When the glaze is cooled quickly, the motion, depth, and fluidity of the glaze becomes frozen in time and gives a snapshot of a specific moment in the firing. FRAIOLI, MADDY Booth 114 I purposefully make work to be used and enjoyed in kitchen, dining, and entertainment settings. The patterns, largely fruit and floral, are carefully articulated by hand. HAMLIN-SMITH, MICHAEL Booth 11 Elegantly designed functional forms with buttery smooth or crusty textured glazes. Designed to enhance the home or office. HERGESHEIMER, DAVID CATALPALANEPOTTERY Booth 16 We design and make all our work in our studio. We have no apprentices. HITCHMAN, SAMUEL SAM HITCHMAN CERAMICS Booth 14 Forms are inspired by the lines and colors found in nature.

KESLER, JONATHAN EARTHLY ARTS POTTERY Booth 50 I integrate art and beauty into peoples lives by creating artwork which allows beauty to function in sycrinisity with their living. KLINGER, JAMES Booth 72 My raku process begins with clay which is hand-built or thrown. The piece is dried and fired in an electric kiln; then smoke-fired or glazed with glazes containing copper and silver; then fired in an outdoor kiln, removed with tongs and placed into a can of straw. LALLY, KATE Booth 39 The surface is glazed using a wax resist technique. The wax burns off in the firing. LAMB, ELAINE Booth Working in porcelain I design my functional work with abstract and nature designs. NEAL, GREG Booth 58 I produce all of my work from start to finish by myself. Wheel thrown stoneware, some pieces are altered and assembled. I use several types of glazes and firing methods ranging from cone 6 oxidation to cone 11 reduction.

PARSLEY, JASON PARSLEY POTTERY Booth 47 Each piece of pottery is hand shaped into its eventual purpose Specially formulated glazes are used for the decoration. RORICK, KIMBERLY Booth 83 I describe my work as being stylized interpretation of people, men and women. I began by making tall slender women with stamped bodices using symbolism to make each one different. As I continue with this theme I find myself experimenting with facial expression and gesture to help define the individuals. RUSSELL, GAIL Booth Wheel thrown and handbuilt high fired porcelain. RUSSELL, JEANNE RUSSELL-WEBSTER POTTERY Booth 129 As an Artist/Potter I try to combine design and brushwork in my pottery. I am also very interested in color interaction and try to reflect that in my work. I also try to conserve on resources whenever possible knowing that pottery is not the most planet friendly media. SNYDER, CAROL Booth 10 My inspiration comes from patterning in the landscape-either man-made or naturally occurring.

TAKADA, KANAME STUDIOTAKADA Booth 89 Most of our pieces are hand-thrown but a few are hand-built. Designs are first carved into leather-hard ware and then filled with colored slips. Excess slips are removed and surfaces are cleaned before the bisque firing prior to the glaze WENDER, ANDREW Booth Pieces are thrown, extruded and carved, then glazed with over 30 colors and assembled into larger compositions. The shades are made from handmade papers. WURST, MARY ANN Booth 19 The use of nature motifs are enhanced by the harmony of earth colors. Of special interest are the irregular shapes with curved and meandering lines.
