1 Media Release Immediate Release Giordano collaborates with renowned global outdoor brand Lowe Alpine on the unique Street2Summit Fusion Collection which was launched in the Fall of 2014 Giordano has constantly strived to enhance the quality and appeal of its products. In recent years, Giordano has continued to surprise consumers with its memorable crossover campaigns with various international brands and designers. This Fall/Winter, Giordano raises the bar once again with its much anticipated Street2Summit Fusion Collection of performance infused apparel, created in conjunction with global outdoor wear pioneers, Lowe Alpine. Both Giordano and Lowe Alpine share the same vision on the importance of superior fabrication, craftsmanship, functionality, comfort and design, all of which are clearly reflected in the Collection items. The Collection consists of three performance jackets, including the G-TEX 3L Lightweight Parka, the G-TEX 2L Ultraflex Waffle Softshell Jacket and the G-TEX 3-in-1 Wintertide Jacket, as well as a series of windbreakers, sweatshirts, bottoms and baselayers. With its playful use of colour blocking and contrast flatlock stitching, as well as the fusion of performance with chic design, the Collection is stylish and easy to wear and match. Each square inch of the coating on the G-TEX waterproof fabrics used in the construction of the 3L Lightweight Parka and the 3-in-1 Wintertide Jacket is made up of hundreds of millions of micro-pores which are smaller than a water droplet, but larger than water vapour molecules. As such, rainwater cannot enter the fabric while moisture can naturally transfer outwards to create a wind and rain blocking shield while retaining body heat during inclement weather. Moreover, the 3L Lightweight Parka has been constructed using seam taping construction applied by hand and hydrophobic microporous coating, making them extremely breathable, but fully waterproof. In addition, the G-TEX 3-in-1 Wintertide Jacket combines a 2-layer G-TEX jacket with zip-in system for smooth attachment with a lightweight down inner. The DuPont TM Teflon DWR shell with hydrophobic microporous coating is waterproof and breathable. Both make great standalone jackets or you can zip them together to form a comprehensive all-weather jacket offering the best in weather protection for the winter climate.
