3 Page 3 of Monthly lease rate for the first 5 years of new units 4.2 Monthly lease rate for the next 5 years ie from the 6th to 10th year for refurbished units. 5 DELIVERY/COMMENCEMENT OF HIRE 5.1 Lead time for delivery of tractors from date of confirmation. 5.2 The rental shall commence only when airfield vehicle permit has been issued by CAAS. 6 SERVICING & MAINTENANCE 6.1 All servicing and maintenance including expendable spares are to be provided free-of-charge by the tenderer. 7 BREAKDOWN (Normal) 7.1 If breakdown is due to normal wear and tear, the tenderer will have to make good the defects freeof-charge. 7.2 If the tenderer is unable to repair it within 24 hours, a replacement will be made available free-ofcharge. 8 BREAKDOWN (Accident) 8.1 If repair takes more than 24 hours, a replacement unit will have to be provided at the following rate: Monthly Rental Rate = Less 50% 30 days 8.2 If the equipment is still not repaired after 30 days, the Hirer need not pay the rental for the replacement unit. 8.3 Excess damages due to accident (tenderer to state). 8.4 All costs incurred for transporting the equipment to and from the Hirer's premises are for the account of the tenderer. 9 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE/BREAKDOWN TEAMS 9.1 The successful tenderer shall be required to set up a workshop / breakdown team to be stationed at SATS premises The team shall have at least 6 staff and equipped with a recovery vehicle The team shall carry out preventive maintenance and attend to breakdowns, which include changing tyres, apron lights,headlights and batteries.

4 Page 4 of The team is also required to prepare the leased tractors and be present for annual vehicle inspections required by the authorities I.e. LTA and CAAS The breakdown team shall be operational from 0700 hours to 2400 hours daily including weekends and public holidays The breakdown team must be equipped with communication equipment so that they can be contacted easily by SATS staff The team is also required to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the batteries (topping up batteries water and replacing batteries for all electric tractors when required) 10 COMMUNICATIONS/AIRPORT CHARGES 10.1 The successful tenderer shall be required to establish a wireless communication link (walkie-talkie) with SATS operating departments The tenderer shall pay the necessary charges to the authorities concerned for the operation of any vehicles or communication equipment within the airport area. *a) airfield driving permit: $10 per year per driver *b) CAAS vehicle permit: per year per unit. RT inspection: S$50.40 per unit *c) Basic communication equipment such as handphone or walkie-talkie. 11 INSURANCE 11.1 For the duration of the hire, the tenderer shall insure the equipment in the name of the tenderer and SATS Airport Services with an insurance company The tenderer shall bear all premiums payable for affecting and keeping the insurance. 12 ACCESSORIES/ATTACHMENTS 12.1 The tenderer shall provide the following: The tractors are to be painted in SATS coporate colours before delivery Seating capacity for two with safety belts chemical dry powder fire extinguisher (2.5kg) Flashing Apron light assembly (amber) rear view mirror /DOES NOT

Front signal lights to be fitted onto canopy Tow bracket and tow-hitch mechanism as in Annex C The standard unit should come with 4 cushioned solid tyres. 13 TOUCH UP PAINTING 13.1 The tenderer shall be rquired to provide touch-up paint job for each tractor every 2 months. 14 FLOAT UNITS/DAILY STATUS REPORT 14.1 The tenderer must provide float units equivalent to 5% of the total leased units All float units must be painted to SATS corporate colours and similarly equipped with all the accessories/attachments (as specified under point 12) The tenderer shall provide SATS with a daily status report of the tractors under servicing/repair by 0830 hours. 15 SPARES SUPPORT/PRICE LIST 15.1 The tenderer shall set up spares support at SATS workshop and stock all spares deem necessary for their servicing and/or breakdown team to operate. This shall include stocking of wheel assemblies and arrangement to repair and replenish the tractor tyes The tenderer must provide a comprehensive price list for all spare parts that would be used for repair of the tractors due to accidents.
