5 The Wikisphere is the SIEMENS-wide open wiki platform in the intranet The Wikisphere is the corporate-wide, open wiki knowledge base for all employees, initiated by Corporate Communications as part of the Global Intranet. Objectives Siemens related knowledge is uncovered and shared over organisation boundaries Business-related expert networks and communities emerge and can interact Benefits from user generated content: growing, up-to-date, relevant, firsthand expert knowledge Decentral content ownership No wiki farm for separated spaces Transfer the potential, energy and agility of the Web 2.0 to SIEMENS.
