VOC Standard All of the products in the Fassa Bortolo Colour System comply with the parameters set forth by European Union standards, designed to limit the emissions of organic compounds; they comply particularly with Italian Legislative Decree No. 161 of 27/03/2006 (Implementation of Directive 2004/42/EC) which identifies the maximum Volatile Organic Compound content (VOCs) in paints and finish coat plasters in paste form. 11 Fassa Bortolo ColorLife Tinting System The experience we have gained in the paint industry (fifteen years ago the first professional Fassa Bortolo tinting system was set up) has allowed us to build a new, evolved tinting system. Today, with the new ColorLife Tinting System, with the addition of 6 new organic colouring pastes for interiors, customers can choose the precise shade of colour, from among 1950 reproducible hues. ColorLife is based on NCS (Natural Color System ), the most widespread and commonly-used colour model in the world by material manufacturing companies, architects, designers, which codes colours according to how they are perceived by the human eye. 18 SILICONE RESIN Application cycles cycle for the fassatherm external thermal insulation composite system To protect and complete the state of the art installation of the Fassatherm External Thermal Insulation Composite System, we recommend applying FS 412 neutral primer or FX 526 pigmented primer, followed by RSR 421 finish coat plaster, to obtain a film of paint with improved resistance to mould and algae.
