3 Performance Strategy Channa Gunawardana MBA (USQ), Bsc (Hons) First Class, ACA, CMA Channa is backed with a First Class Degree in Accountancy and Financial Management (University of Sri Jayewardenepura) and with a MBA major in Finance (University of Southern Queensland) in academic side of his career and as far as his professional background is concerned, he is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and an Associate Member of CIMA. At present, Channa is the Chief Financial Officer of the Woven Cluster at Hirdaramani Group of Companies. Earlier he had performed as the Country Manager for Ernst & Young, Maldives. His above qualifications and career experience, he is able to provide his students a flavour of the theory as well as the practical aspects of modern business. He has been a regular lecturer for ICASL exams and is also a visiting faculty member of PIM, University of Sri Jayewardenepura for their MBA programme. Presently Channa is lecturing for Performance Strategy (P 3) at the Strategic level and T4 (TOPCIMA) of CIMA curriculum. He has been invited to conduct revision programs in India, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore in the last few years. 4 Financial Strategy Sugeeth Patabendige Sugeeth is a Chartered Management Accountant of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), and is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). He holds a Masters in Economics with a Distinction Pass, and a Bachelors Degree in Finance with a First Class, both earned from University of Colombo (Sri Lanka). Sugeeth currently works as a senior lecturer attached to Wisdom Business Academy (accredited CIMA learning quality partner), which is the largest CIMA tuition provider in Sri Lanka and second largest in the world, and also functions as a senior lecturer attached to the Marketing Management Department of University of Kelaniya, one of the largest government run Universities in Sri Lanka. For more than a decade Sugeeth has been involved in teaching C1 (Management Accounting Fundamentals), P1 (Performance Operations), P2 (Performance Management) and F3 (Financial Strategy) for the CIMA fraternity. For a given session he coaches a minimum of one thousand CIMA students. His credentials involve producing more than 15 CIMA prizewinners and notching up above average pass rates consistently. In recognition of his credentials, sugeeth was awarded the prestigious CIMA Best Tutor of the Year by CIMA global in Sugeeth is a frequent invitee as a facilitator in conducting regional revision programs in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, and India. He also specialises in conducting Train the Trainer Programs for the CIMA Performance Pillar. Sugeeth is a well known specialist in conducting CIMA short courses and has guided numerous students in passing CIMA through his meticulous teaching, and even helping the students continuously through online support. 5 Enterprise Strategy Arj Wignaraja MBA, BA(Hons)Econ Arj Wignaraja is a Senior Advisor at Stax, Inc., a global strategy consulting firm, and formerly served as Managing Director of the Colombo, Sri Lanka office. He is currently Head of Operations for Remote Sensing Metrics, a company that provides propriety reports to Wall Street investment firms and retailers, based on high-resolution satellite imagery. Arj's expertise includes the Asia-Pacific region, where he advises corporate clients on market entry and expansion in high growth areas such as education, financial services, and manufacturing, with a particular emphasis on data analytics and consumer-driven insights. Prior to establishing the Stax Colombo office in 2005, Arj served as a director in Stax's Chicago office, where he worked with financial service clients on growth opportunities and competitive challenges, and evaluated investment opportunities for their private equity clients. Prior to joining Stax, Arj was with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he helped formulate business strategies for Fortune 500 clients in the financial services and industrial goods sectors. Arj holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BA in Economics with Honors from Princeton University. He is also a member of the Lankan Angels Network (LAN) which promotes entrepreneurship and provides seed funding for new businesses. Arj serves as a visiting lecturer at Wisdom Business Academy, the specialist in CIMA education, and his academic and professional profile helps immensely for his students to achieve success at the Enterprise Strategy paper at CIMA Strategic Level.
