6 Exam Structure To be eligible for ACCA membership students are required to pass each of the following examination papers. Fundamentals 9 papers in total Knowledge F1 Accountant in Business F2 Management Accounting F3 Financial Accounting Skills F4 Corporate and Business Law F5 Performance Management F6 Taxation F7 Financial Reporting F8 Audit and Assurance F9 Financial Management Professional 5 papers in total Essentials (all 3) P1 Professional Accountant P2 Corporate Reporting P3 Business Analysis Options (any 2 from 4) P4 Advanced Financial Management P5 Advanced Performance Management P6 Advanced Taxation P7 Advanced Audit and Assurance

7 Full-time Course Structure Highly flexible course structure which allows students to study at a suitable pace. If students have already achieved passes in (or exemptions from) some ACCA papers, the course allows them to study a portfolio of Fundamental and Professional papers at the same time. Students select between four and six papers each year. (At least two of these must be studied each term). Examinations are taken in either December or June each year. Tuition usually scheduled across only 2 days/evenings per week.

8 Course Structure This represents a typical pathway of study over a 3 year period for a student with no previous ACCA exam passes or exemptions. Other pathways allowing students to study at a slower or faster pace are possible.

9 Fee structure Priced at 850 per paper (students must study between 4 and 6 papers per academic year) Price is therefore 3,400 and 5,100 per annum, which is considerably less than a typical undergraduate programme. Includes free revision sessions and student support outside of the classroom. A 10% discount is available when students enrol for 9 or more papers over two or more academic years.

10 Entry requirements Students must be registered with the ACCA to join the course. Two A levels and 5 GCSE s (or equivalent) are required to achieve this. Relevant Secure English Language Test such as IELTS 6.0 or its TOEFL or Pearson equivalent. We also accept West Africa s WAEC.

11 Other study options at BCU After studying F1 to F4 students could transfer to one of our highly acclaimed BSc Accounting courses. This would enable them to maximise their ACCA exemption opportunities. Alternatively, students could combine their professional papers with an MSc in Accounting and Finance. After completing all ACCA papers students could join our intensive 4 month MSc Accounting and Finance top up course.
