As a result of this experience each family receives a tangible symbol of the faithfulness and unconditional love of Christ. And volunteers gain perspective on the extreme poverty that exists in the world. Sign-ups start today through April 28 with a $ deposit to secure your spot. 3 Christ in Youth MOVE Conference July in Cleveland, TN. Cost is $ For students currently in 8th-12th grades. Sign up and pay a $50.00 deposit at the Adult Information Center by May 26. Total due by June 23. Student Ministry MidPoint Purity Retreat For current 6th, 7th & 8th graders. April at the Covington Campus. Cost is $10.00 (pay when you come). Students sign up at the MidPoint information booth. Housing Authority Service - HighPoint will host a worship service at the Housing Authority TODAY! Meet at the HA at 2:00 p.m. to set up and invite residents to join the service. All high schoolers are welcome to come & serve! Living Faith Retreat - For all high schoolers. Jackson Lake Campus high school students can sign up to ride the church van to the Covington Campus each week to attend HighPoint. North Georgia Christian Camp 2013 Eastridge Student Dates Register as soon as possible. All registrations & orders must be paid two weeks prior to event to avoid a $10.00 late fee. No camper will be barred from attending because of their race, color, or creed. Be sure to mark the correct camp date on the registration form (dates below). Once the spots are filled, parents will be responsible for getting their kids to and from camp. 4 The Challenge: Each year at the end of school, Newton County Schools release students for Summer Break. Around 3,000 kids receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch during the school year, and when schools are not in session many families struggle to provide meals for their children. We are inviting individuals, families, and growth groups to participate in the Pack the Pantry challenge as we help our local food pantries prepare for the increased need during the long summer months ahead. Let s come together as the body of Christ and help support children and families living in food insecure homes. How You Can Help: Pack a Box! Visit the Connect Center to pick up an official Pack the Pantry box. Throughout April, work to fill the box with the food items listed on the inside label. Bring your filled box (or boxes!) to the Spring Picnic where we will gather the donations and come together to pray for the families who will receive them. Collection Day: Bring your filled Pack the Pantry box to the Spring Picnic Sunday, April 28 from 4:00-6:30 at the Covington Campus. Food Options for the Picnic: Choice 1-Pack a picnic for your family, bring a chair, etc. Choice 2-Purchase a Varsity Meal Ticket from the Information Center (at either campus) through Sunday, April 21. ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT! The tickets are $10.00 per person (not age specific).
