13 D-Flex Cable Series D-Flex Series D-Flex Microporous Series DC - 4 GHz. Application & Product Features The D-Flex and D-Flex Microporous Series replace semi-rigid cable with a flexible equivalent while eliminating the need for three dimensional drawings, thereby simplifying the manufacturing processes and reducing cost. Both cable types provide easy solder termination to all (.47,.86, and TM.141) semi-rigid connectors. The D-Flex Series is equivalent to the popular *TFlex cable types with solid PTFE cores and the new D-Flex Microporous Series offers extended operational frequencies and temperature ranges by utilizing DynaCore PTFE Dielectric Technology. Suitable for all semi-rigid applications where cost savings is a concern. Component interconnections inside drawers, cabinets and enclosures. Military Defense systems, Medical systems, Telecommunication systems, Commercial antennas and Sub systems. Medical MI applications (D-Flex Microporous) when mating to non-magnetic connectors. Frequency range to 4 GHz. Shielding effectiveness >1 db Flexure life >1, cycles at 5x minimum bend radius. w w w. d y n a w a v e c a b l e. c o m

35 DYNAWAVE Cable Assembly Specifi cations See page 34 to determine a Code for your requirement, or contact our factory for custom cable assemblies tailored to your specifications. Our 1% tested and factory certifi ed assemblies are manufactured with semi-automated assembly methods and statistical process controls. In addition, all soldering operations are IPC/WHMA-A-62 or IPC-J-STD-1 certifi ed. This produces consistent, predictable products that protect signal integrity and ensures excellent transmission quality every time. Several variations of standard connector interfaces are available for this cable series. In addition, a rugged strain relief at the cable/connector junction comes standard to improve the dependability of these assemblies. Available jacket types for this cable are listed below with specifi c mechanical performance attributes listed on page 34..
