2 WHY GREEN CAMP WHAT YOU WILL LEARN 4 PILLARS OF LEARNING Green Camp is set in one of the world s greenest and most innovative campuses at Green School in Bali. We provide experiences that cultivate people s understanding and appreciation of nature, community, and self through an unforgettable learning adventure. Our programs operates year-round, offering programs for families, children from ages 6-17, to school groups. We provide day and overnight camp programs ranging from half-day visits to intensive week-long residential experiences. Participants will be challenged physically, intellectually and emotionally through a range of hands-on activities designed to stimulate different needs, skills as well as living rustically. Bringing students to Green Camp will help them to better understand and appreciate the multi-faceted values of nature and enhance their confidence as young green leaders empowered to live successful and sustainable lives. 3 FC FAMILY WHO IT S FOR Family Camps are the perfect opportunity to experience eco-living amidst the Green Camp s campus. These camps are curated for your family to experience a variety of carefully chosen activities to enhance your connection to nature, challenge your family to experience new things, and stimulate a refreshing outlook on life. WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE Our family camps are all-inclusive: all accommodations, healthy meals & homemade snacks, free-flow spring water & coffee/ tea, and most importantly a variety of fun activities are all included in your Green Camp experience. A maximum of 11 families can join our family camps at a given time this makes for a close-knit, casual, and uncrowded ambiance. HOW LONG IS THE CAMP 3 Day Family Camp is the perfect short eco-getaways for the whole family. Kids should be minimum of 5 years age to have the most optimal experience. 5 Day Family Camp offer families a more in-depth and authentic experience of Green Camp and Bali. Having 5 days here will allow you the time to experience intrepid explorations into the jungle or rice paddies surrounding our site, to swimming in our spring-fed rock pools, to making a positive difference by contributing to our ongoing community service and sustainable agriculture projects... All the while enjoying every second and creating some great memories. This was a wonderful experience on so many levels and I would highly recommend any family taking their children. 4 KC KIDS WHO IT S FOR It is every child s dream to come to Green School, but not all families are able to relocate to Bali. Green Camp is an opportunity for kids to experience Green School and learn the basics of sustainability for a short amount of time. We invite campers from ages 6-12 to join our adventurous camps! Our approach focuses upon learning-through-experience, and this underpins all of our adventure based and environmentally focused challenges and activities. Children participating in Green Camp will gain a tangible inspiration to live a more environmental sustainable lives. WHAT THEY WILL LEARN There is no typical day at Green Camp! Each part of the camp is purposefully planned including reflection time to grow leadership skills such as communication, collaboration, decision-making whilst impart self-awareness values in fun and memorable ways. Kids Day Camp (ages 6-12) are the perfect opportunity for your natural explorers. Activities flow from exploring Bali s rice paddies, creating organic gardens and making organic chocolate harvested from our own cacao trees. Kids Overnight Camp (ages 7-12) will include nighttime activities such as campfire and night safari in addition to a challenge-based outdoor learning adventure during the day. We did many other things during our 10 day stay in Bali and when we asked our son what his favourite thing was he will say Green Camp. Students return to their schools with new skills, a deeper appreciation for the way humanity is connected to the environment. Green Camp pushes out of our comfort zone, a lot of the cultural differences made me aware of the things I take for granted.
