2 On behalf of the board, staff and clients of Queen of Peace Center, thank you for joining us in celebrating our 30th Anniversary. For 30 years, we have been providing family-centered behavioral healthcare to women with addiction, children and families. We continue to be innovative, responsive and ever changing to meet the needs of the community. To date, we have helped accompany over 40,000 women from lives of addiction to recovery, welcomed into new life more than 10,000 drug free babies and transitioned more than 11,000 women from homelessness into permanency. 3 Queen of Peace Center offers a variety of treatment options for addiction, co-occurring disorders and trauma. The Center s residential and outpatient treatment sites offer affordable programs by highly skilled, compassionate professionals who believe that quality treatment should be accessible to everyone. Queen of Peace Center, a Federation agency of Catholic Charities since 1985, serves the metropolitan and surrounding St. Louis area. Queen of Peace Center is accredited by COA (Council on Accreditation) and certified by Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health. Family-Centered Behavioral Health Treatment Family-centered behavioral health treatment provides the opportunity to heal from the wounds of addiction. Addiction is a disease that impacts the entire family. Various treatment options for women, children and families include: 299 CHILDREN RECEIVED THERAPEUTIC SERVICES 359 PARENTING EDUCATION 78 TRAUMA SERVICES Peace for Kids Child Development Center Peace for Kids Child Development Center is a comprehensive early childhood and educational program for the children of Queen of Peace Center and the surrounding community. 45 CHILDREN OF CHILDREN DEMONSTRATED KINDERGARTEN READINESS 842 TREATMENT 64% OF CHILDREN IMPROVED THEIR SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS 96% OF CHILDREN ENROLLED WERE DEVELOPMENTALLY ON TARGET OF AT RISK CHILDREN RECEIVED THERAPEUTIC SERVICES 49% OF WOMEN IMPROVED THEIR LEVEL OF FUNCTIONING 240 WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES RECEIVED FAMILY THERAPY CHILDREN Children s Therapy and Community Support Therapeutic Daycare Services WOMEN CHILDREN FAMILY WOMEN PARENTS Diagnostic Screening and Clinical Assessment Residential and Outpatient Treatment Individual and Group Co-Occurring Counseling Community Support, Education and Outreach Group Education Peer Mentoring and Recovery Support Trauma Recovery Support Art Therapy Primary Health Care Referral and Services Psychiatric Services Transitional, Supportive and Permanent Housing The Adolescent Resource Center OF ADOLESCENTS REPORTED SATISFACTION WITH SERVICES Pregnancy Support Childbirth Education Family Therapy Parenting Education PARENTS The Adolescent Resource Center is an early intervention and prevention program for Saint Louis County youth between the ages of who are at risk of developing substance use and/or mental health disorders or risky behaviors. 71% OF ADOLESCENTS DEMONSTRATED POSITIVE BEHAVIORS AND IMPROVED SYMPTOMS 319 ADOLESCENTS Housing Queen of Peace Center believes that housing coupled with treatment helps break the cycle of addiction and homelessness. Transitional, supportive and permanent housing is provided at seven locations and at scattered community sites. St. Philippine Home provides therapeutic, structured living for up to two years for homeless women with co-occurring disorders and their children. 33 BEDS AND CHILDREN OF WOMEN REPORTED SATISFACTION WITH SERVICES 73 WOMEN AND CHILDREN 49% OF WOMEN MAINTAINED OR IMPROVED THEIR INCOME 88% OBTAINED EMPLOYMENT/ VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND/OR EDUCATION 62% OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN EXITED TO PERMANENT HOUSING Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a home for pregnant and postpartum women and their children. 24 BEDS AND CHILDREN 94% OF MOTHERS GAVE BIRTH TO A DRUG FREE BABY 106 WOMEN AND CHILDREN OF WOMEN WERE PROVIDED ACCESS TO PRENATAL, POSTPARTUM AND PRIMARY HEALTHCARE Permanent Housing is provided through QOPC s Shelter Plus Care Program, a subsidized permanent housing program for QOPC clients and their families who are homeless and disabled.
