Please be considerate of others by not bouncing basketballs in the gym while a game is in progress. b. Teams are responsible for the conduct of their fans. A team may be warned to control their fans if they are getting out of hand according to the judgment of the officials overseeing the game. If a second warning is given the official may penalize the team with a technical foul and award the opposing team with two free throws and possession of the ball. c. Hanging on the rim is not allowed. A technical foul will be assessed if this rule is broken. 3. Playing in Multiple Leagues: a. Participants are able to play in the A League and 3- on- 3 League or the B League and 3- on- 3 League as long as they meet the age requirements; however, participants cannot play in both the A League and the B League. 4. Winning B League Two (2) Consecutive Years: a. If a team wins the B League two (2) consecutive years it will automatically move up to the A League the following year. b. The same team will be allowed to rejoin the B League after its season in the A League if it finishes 7 th place or worse. 5. Rosters: a. Players can only be added up until the start of a team s first game. A liability waiver has to be in hand before a player can be added. b. Final rosters are due at the start of each team s first game and will be turned in at the score table. GABC will keep each team s final roster and use it for every game. However, coaches/captains do need to notify the score table every week prior to their games if a player will miss that particular game. c. A player must participate in at least two (2) regular season games in order to be eligible for the tournament and the prize for winning the tournament. d. A team can have a maximum of twelve (12) players on its roster. e. Your team may only have 2 non- members on your team. This is a change from last year. f. Your pastor must sign your roster; Kyle Cox will sign for GABC teams. g. Teams found playing with an illegal player will forfeit any games that player(s) plays. 6. Devotions: a. Devotions will be done this year by the Home team during halftime of each game. The home team will perform the devotion for both teams. These devotions should be at least 3 minutes and must not exceed 5 minutes. They will take place at the 5 minutes left mark of halftime. i. The home team will forfeit their game if they do not perform a devotion and the visiting team will forfeit their game if they do not participate in the devotion.
3 7. Sportsmanship Points: a. Teams will be graded by officials and/or league administration on sportsmanship each game. b. Every team will start a game with a grade of 5 and lose points throughout the game if their actions warrant it. i. Each technical foul in a game will result in an automatic loss of one point. d. Sportsmanship points from officials and/or league administration will be averaged at the end of each game to give each team a score for the week. i. Weekly scores will not be rounded. 1. For example, an average score of will be recorded as 2.9 while a score of will be recorded as 3.4. e. Weekly sportsmanship scores will be averaged at the end of the regular season. i. Available colors are black, blue, green, orange, purple, red, white, and yellow. i. Colors are on a first- come first served basis and will only be reserved once your team fee, team roster, and liability waivers have all been turned in. ii.
