It has been developed by an experienced and stable team for over 20 years. During this period, the ARBES TOPAS system has gained a leading position in asset management in the Czech Republic more than two-thirds of collective investment and individual management funds are administered via ARBES TOPAS. In addition, a third of all security traders in Slovakia use this system and it has also been successfully implemented at leading companies on five different continents. 3 ArBes topas solution for fund AdministrAtion The ARBES TOPAS system is used at banks and investment companies for the administration of funds as well as for their verification from the position of the depository, for providing custody services and for the management of funds or individual portfolios in the form of asset management. The following tools form an integral part of the ARBES TOPAS system: tools for the record-keeping of individual trades, corporate operations and cash flow; tools for their evaluation including guarantee and speculative derivatives; tools for the check of legal and statutory limits of standard and special funds as well as funds of qualified investors. ARBES TOPAS keeps records concerning the number of share units and calculates NAV and unit prices all in cooperation with the ARBES TA system or another system for the distribution of collective investment funds. As a result, it is an attractive option not only for the management of share funds but also for pension funds and insurance funds. The system is fully compatible with the UCITS IV directive requirements in the area of record-keeping and reporting for national banks and statistical offices. A key system feature is the automation of all processes when completing and settling transactions and the end of day. The system automatically records all accounting entries into the ARBES FEIS company information system or into external accounting; it also supports cash flow management. ArBes topas solution for traders And treasury The ARBES TOPAS system is used by security and treasury traders and portfolio administrators for trading on markets or via direct trades. The system offers a widely configurable range of transactions with all types of instruments traded on public markets or OTC (Over the Counter) including futures and structured instruments. The system enables direct connection with a number of trading systems and registers. The FIX interface support ensures maximum flexibility for the receipt of client instructions as well as communication with a number of world markets (for example, XETRA, NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, Warsaw Stock Exchange and Budapest Stock Exchange). This interconnection allows clients and investment DMA consultants to trade via FIX as well as via the ARBES TOPAS ebroker web application. The wide array of various platforms is unified in accordance with the requirements for recordkeeping and reporting as per MiFID directives. In addition to the trading of securities, the system also supports the standard activities of the Treasury Department, such as spot and term operations on money markets including deposits, conversions, REPO operations and interest swaps. A part of the ARBES TOPAS system is the support of the monitoring of individual trade margins and the monitoring of limits for risk management. The ARBES TOPAS system also automates the processes and records based on legislative requirements in the area of AML (anti-money laundering) and counter-terrorism measures.

4 ARBES TOPAS modular system ArBes topas modular system A major advantage of the ARBES TOPAS system is its modular structure. Thanks to this structure, it is possible to scale the solution according to the specific needs of individual customers. The core of the ARBES TOPAS system is formed by three Back Office modules: Setup contains the statistical data registries (of individuals, financial instruments and additional lookups) Results keeps records of all transactions, cash flows and portfolios Portfolio used for the evaluation of individual managed portfolios The following extensions are available for the automation of Back-Office activities: Limits Z189 (online check of the legal and statutory limits of funds), Risk Management (online check of trading limits), AML (online check of compliance rules) and Reporting and Reports (management and national bank reports). The following modules are used for communication with third parties: SWIFT (custody reports), Importer and Batch Management (file data transfers), Central Depository of Securities Czech Republic and Central Depository of Securities Slovak Republic (online communication with the corresponding depositories). 5 The basic configuration also includes the ARBES FEIS modules, mainly the Accounting module for TOPAS for the keeping of the general ledger as a fully-fledged module of the ARBES FEIS company information system. Export into External Accounting is used for companies that use a different accounting system. The specialized Bank modules are designed for the sending of payment orders and the loading of bank statements with more than one hundred banks. The main TOPAS users are as follows: investment companies investment companies are the most established users of the ARBES TOPAS system that most often use it for the administration of share and pension funds; security traders traders use ARBES TOPAS for trading as well as for the administration of own assets or individual or Model portfolios ed portfolios (Asset Management); Banks banks use ARBES TOPAS to provide comprehensive services on capital or money markets; they often carry out depository services for investment companies as well as custody services for foreign clientele. The ARBES TOPAS system supports all activities in the process of trading on capital and money markets. 7 ARBES TOPAS technology And system security technology The ARBES TOPAS system is based on client server technology. The Oracle Database server is used as the database server. The Oracle Database Standard Edition One R11 version is sufficient for the basic version for Windows. With regard to their purpose, client applications are developed on various platforms requiring OS MS Windows XP or newer. security System security is one of the main priorities at ARBES Technologies and is based on the ISO security standards. The ARBES TOPAS solution incorporates the following security mechanisms: Security is further guaranteed by the chosen Oracle database which does not allow unauthorized users to access data. Data transfers outside the local network are secured by SSL. Data backup is continuously carried out with the help of Oracle technologies (using archived rollback segments) and in the form of daily backup on an external backup device. Activities with operating data are logged ARBES TOPAS Front Office Access security is ensured by the central recordkeeping of users and user administration can be shared with the Active Directory via the LDAP protocol.
