The team of MC Anděl doctors consists of certified Medical Internists who have extended their qualifications by obtaining attestation in Practical Medicine. We recommend these plans to patients from 45 years of age, as the importance of preventive medical checks and health care in general rises significantly beyond this age. Apart from regular medical checks, we have adequate outpatient facilities that enable us to use special diagnostic methods which accelerate and simplify diagnostication, such as ultrasonography of the abdomen and chest, outpatient monitoring blood pressure, spirometry (lung functionality tests), etc. Our Physicians Head doctor and professional representative of MC Anděl, MD Robert Wohl, is an experienced specialist in internal medicine and duly attested general practitioner licensed in multiple diagnostic and medical techniques (abdominal ultrasonography, artificial nutrition and metabolic care). He has many years of work experience gained both at the 2 nd Internal Medicine Clinic of the Vinohrady University Hospital and the Na Homolce Hospital, where he was the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine.

2 Prevention MD Šárka Očenášková worked in the General Teaching Hospital in Prague after graduating from the 1 st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. Since 1998 she has worked in the 2nd Internal - and the 3rd Internal-Cardiology Clinic in Vinohrady Teaching Hospital. Since 23 she has focused on internal medicine and general practice in outpatient facilities. Her specialist qualifications are in Internal Medicine and General Practice Medicine. The healthcare of its inhabitants is very expensive for every country. 4 Transfer of health information We put great emphasis on making your health records readily available. Making an appropriate medical decision often depends on having all the necessary information to hand. The MC Anděl client has this key information (medical history, summary of medication used, allergies, vaccinations, EKG, RTG etc.) at their disposal on our medical centre s USB card. Your health data is available not only to you at any time but also to any doctor who is taking care of your health. The USB MCA card is provided with a USB lock with an individually set password in case the card is lost. Your personal medical data is exported, together with the digital signature of the doctor, from our information system to the card and is intended only for our patients or other doctors to read or copy. 6 Educational materials MC Anděl keeps its clients up to date with the latest programmes for the prevention of the most common tumour diseases (e.g. cancer of the large intestine, prostate and breast cancer), and so you will find not only your medical data on your USB MCA card but also some relevant educational information. Population screening programmes reflect, among other factors, the economic status of individual healthcare facilities. Therefore we not only inform you about screening that comes within the remit of public health insurance, but also about what is available outside the state supported system. The USB MCA card system also enables us to provide our patients with detailed individualised information about the most common diseases. For example a patient with diabetes mellitus has on his USB MCA card detailed fact sheets on his diseases (from an explanation of the causes of the disease to dealing with acute complications and understanding the criterion of compensation in order to prevent complications later).
