3 Part : Finding Intraday Forex Signals Choosing an intraday timeframe and scan options

4 Finding and scanning for intraday forex signals follows the same process as it does for finding any forex signals: simply go to our Create a Scan section to begin. This tutorial will not cover all the details of scanning for Forex signals. For full details on scanning for Forex signals, please see the Quick Start Guide: The Wizard Forex tutorial. 5 Your Intraday Scan Options: The Wizard s Create a Scan tool has several options with which you can customize your scans. Select a category Select Forex 4 Select the Trend Select an intraday timeframe You have several options for intraday forex timeframes: 5m, 60m, 0m, 40m & 480m [we will not be discussing daily & weekly timeframes in this tutorial.) 5 6 Search for a Symbol Create your Scan Select Pre-Buy (for buy signals only) Pre-Sell (for sell signals only) Or Scan All (for buys, sells and open signals) 3 Select a Scan Type Conservative (take profits along the way) or Aggressive (exit all at once)

6 Your Intraday Scan Results Update Frequently: Your intraday scan results will look identical to your daily or weekly scan results. Please note, however, that these signals update frequently, depending on the timeframe you ve chosen. For example, if you ve chosen the 60m timeframe, our signals will update every hour. Hours in the trade For intraday signals, The Wizard shows you the number of hours in the trade, rather than the number of days.

7 Part : Advanced Features Multiple timeframes, charts and alerts

8 Viewing All Timeframes for One Forex Pair For any forex pair, The Wizard has a unique feature, which allows you to see the signals for all timeframes simultaneously. Just roll over the symbol name and choose Show All Timeframes from the pop-out menu. This features allows you to see the trends and signals for all timeframes, so that you can get a bigger - and more accurate - picture of the forex pair you re trading.

9 Forex Charts You can also view a chart for any forex pair. Again, rollover the symbol and choose Chart from the pop-out menu. The Wizard Charts show you the following options: Entries, exits & profit targets All of these price levels are clearly displayed on the chart. 3 Trend Signal Paint Bars Each bar is colored with The Wizard s Trend Signal for that bar. Change options on the fly You can update the symbol name, timeframe, Scan Type (conservative or aggressive) and bar display from within the chart. 4 Signal Details The full signal details are displayed below the chart. 3 4

10 Real-Time Alerts The Wizard alerts you to any new entry signals for any Forex pair. Alerts for Pre-Buys and Pre-Sells Anytime The Wizard issues an intraday Pre-Buy or Pre-Sell signal, the alert symbol will display in the Entry Price Column for that pair. Alerts on the Entry Bar This alert will display through the first entry bar for that forex pair. For example, if the alert issues on a 60 min Buy Signal, once The Wizard s Pre-Buy price is hit, the trade is now active. The alert signal will display for the first bar of the trade - in this case 60 min. This lets you know that the trade signal was just triggered.
