3 Motul.Sport.News Blancpain Endurance Series / Nürburgring Round TH Chiyo - Reip - Buncombe / Nissan GT Academy Team RJN / Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 A major title for the Nissan GT-R NISMO # 23 trio A 3rd place at the Nürburgring circuit, on Sunday 20 September, sufficed for Katsumasa Chiyo, Wolfgang Reip and Alex Buncombe to bag the Blancpain Endurance Series Pro Cup drivers title. The Japanese man, who also triumphed in the Bathurst 12 Hours this year, is a brilliant former Super GT driver. The Belgian wins one of the major GT championships three years after being discovered for his talents as a gamer. As for the Brit, a pillar of team RJN long partnered by Motul, he sees his coaching work at Nissan NISMO Playstation GT Academy deservedly rewarded. It s probably the finest day of my life apart from when my son was born! commented a highly emotional Alex Buncombe. The title clinched by the #23 trio is achieved already in the first Pro Cup entry by Nissan and its partner Team RJN. They had already won together in the GT4 European Cup and in the Blancpain Endurance Series Pro-Am category. Meanwhile the sister car entered in Pro-Am by Nissan GT Academy Team RJN suffered a throttle problem in the front straight in lap 19. Surprised, the driver following it sent it off into the wall! 4 International Super Cup Karting KZ2 / Le Mans 15 TH Thomas Laurent / Cedric Sport / Tony Kart - Vortex Gold for Laurent The International Super Cup is the highest distinction in KZ2, the weight category for 125cc gearbox karts. 96 drivers from 20 countries participated on 12 and 13 September in the 2015 edition, held as a prelude to the KZ World Championship in Le Mans. Motul is the official lubricant partner of the Automobile Club de l Ouest, and was present around the circuit and on the dresses of the hostesses, but above all mixed in the fuel that propelled Thomas Laurent to his first international win. For Motul, it is a big success promoting its range of 2-stroke lubricants. In KZ2 category, propellers of one eighth of a litre cubic capacity deliver power close to 50 hp. Bodywork builders, manufacturers of engines and tuners engage in a fierce battle. This year, Thomas Laurent and Cédric Sport managed by tuner Cédric Goudant and partnered technically by Motul, have already roared through the KZ2 French Cup and are well placed to bag a third consecutive title of French Long Circuit Champion. International acclaim came in Le Mans at the end of an almost perfect track record. 12th in the timed trials, Thomas Laurent won three of its five rounds to climb to 2nd in the intermediary standings. Then, the FFSA Karting Team member hailing from Vendée won his pre-final and started from pole for the final. Leading from start to finish, he was never threatened. Not bad for a privateer, winner of the International Super Cup ahead of two factory drivers!

5 GT Asia / Pole Position Challenge David Sonenscher, CEO Motorsport Asia Ltd / Samuel Kang, Motul HTL Motorsports Specialist Motul extends visibility in GT Asia Having become the official partner of the GT Asia Series at the beginning of 2015, Motul decided to increase its presence in the championship by creating the Pole Position Challenge. The quest for pure performance will be rewarded by a special trophy for the driver having bagged most pole positions during the season. Though only in its first year, the partnership between GT Asia and Motul has been strong, and the new challenge cements the bond that both brands share, stated David Sonenscher, Joint Series Director. The GT Asia Series is the leading GT championship of the continent, with events in Thailand, China, Japan, Malaysia and South Korea and a prestige race outside the championship in the streets of Macao. Organised jointly by Motorsport Asia Ltd and the Supercar Club Hong Kong, it is officially recognised as an international series by the FIA (International Automobile Federation).

6 IAA International Motor Show - Brabus / Frankfurt Brabus International Motor Show Frankfurt Brabus and Motul technology at the leading edge of the Frankfurt show The 66th IAA International Motor Show, held from 17 to 27 September in Frankfurt, is one of the world s major motor shows with 1,103 exhibitors hailing from 39 countries. BRABUS Group, with which Motul has entered into a very close partnership, is present with more than 40 cars on show and no less than ten world firsts. For instance, the Mercedes coupés AMG GT/GT S come in a kit that concerns the appearance, bodywork and a 600 hp engine reaching 325 km/h. The Brabus Biturbo 4x4 Coupé is the world s best performing SUV (0 to 100 km in 3.8 seconds). Based on the off-roader Mercedes G 63, Brabus proposes the Biturbo Widestar, with more than 850 hp and 23 inch tyres! Still in the G Range of the threepointed star car manufacturer, a G 500 4x4² boasts a twin-turbo V8 engine exceeding 500 hp, with a torque of 710 Nm. When the luxurious Mercedes-Maybach S600 adopts the BRABUS V12 twin-turbo that s to give it the tremendous 900 hp propelling it at a speed of 350km/h, in an atmosphere of leather, precious wood and carbon materials, as is the norm at Brabus. Without forgetting the 600 hp of the C 63S, the interesting Brabus Zero Emission on a Tesla S base or the T and Y rims. But visiting the Brabus stand in Frankfurt reserves many other amazing discoveries...

7 Ukrainian Drift Championship / Kiev Round TH Alex Golovnya / Zeetex Nissan RPS13 Alexei Golovnya, Ukrainian drift champion The Ukrainian Drift Championship had no longer been held for two years on Chaika Autodrome, near Kiev when 4,000 spectators came along on 13 September to watch the 19 contenders battling with each other. Alex Golovnya, whose team is partnered by Motul, is the indisputable 2015 champion even if he didn t win this fourth and last round of the season. Four contenders did not get past the qualifying stage owing to technical problems. Alex Golovnya was the best of the 15 survivors of this stage and people were wondering how he could be beaten. In the final, he was faced with his friend Dmitry Illyuk, but unfortunately the two cars collided and were quite seriously damaged. Golovnya was apparently taken by surprise by his contender s prolonged drift on exiting a curve while he was expecting him to negotiate the following corner in the opposite direction. He couldn t avoid hitting Illyuk s rear wing. His car then left the ground before falling back and spinning out before coming to a halt. Opinions are shared as to the responsibility of either party in this spectacular collision. In any case Dmitry Illyuk won the event ahead of the youngest driver of the championship, Nikita Lukyanov.
