3 What is Green (R)evolution? Under the leadership of the Secretary-General, United Nations, governments have advanced international efforts to fight, mitigate and adapt to climate change. At the Climate Conference (COP) in Cancun in 2010, governments adopted the Cancun agreements, forming the basis for the largest-ever collective effort to reduce carbon emissions and address the long-term challenges of climate change. Green (R)evolution is an Initiative to Educate, Inspire and Act on Mitigation & Adaptation methods of Climate Change

6 What is Green (R)evolution Global Program? Green (R)evolution - Action against climate change is an initiative by International Centre for Culture & Education (ICCE) cause supported by United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This initiative is about spreading knowledge on the effects of Climate Change and the actions we can take within our own capacity. It is done through various activities such as global certification programs, campaigns & workshops.

8 Green (R)evolution Global Certification Public Program Green (R)evolution Global Certification Program is an International Level Short term course study open for General Public. Anyone above the age of 16 can apply for the program. Course Fees : Rs. 750/- Course Material Includes: A5 size illustrated book containing 120 pages and a CD which contains e-books, animations, videos and more Refer-a-friend: Every Participant who refers his/her friend gets a GREEN (R)EVOLUTION Wristband Free! 9 How does the Program Work? There are 2 Parts to the Program Knowledge Testing Online Exam Offline Exam On-Ground Activity Green -a- Bag (Compulsory) Group Activity (Optional)
10 Program Details Knowledge Testing: Each Group of Participants can either choose for an Online or Offline Exam. The knowledge shared in the book & cd will be assessed in the form of 10 questions. These could be Multiple choice and/or essay type questions. Note: Participants who do not attempt the exam by the deadline will be considered disqualified and will receive a participation certificate. On Ground Activity: Every Participant needs to perform an activity within his/her influence circle. i. Green -a- Bag (Compulsory) : Green a bag is an awareness campaign part of Green (R)evolution Global Program where each participant has to explain the impacts of Climate Change and easy steps that an individual can take within his/her own capacity to fight climate change. One such action will be to use the cloth bag provided to them instead of using regular plastic bags. Each Participant has to promote a minimum of 10 bags worth Rs. 20/- each, to gain credits in this segment. For more information visit intcce.org/green ii. Group Activity (Optional): Each Group can choose to perform any of the activities listed on our website. Credits will be given to the participant and the group once the chosen activity is completed.
