2 TUNABLE COLOR LIGHT COMMISSIONING TOOL (LCT) Button Description SCAN SELECT Scans the network to discover lamps and then selects an individual lamp or PRESET SCENE Lamp ON/OFF Turns the selected lamp on or off DIMMING UP / DOWN Adjusts Dimming levels from 100%-1% in increments of 1% CCT UP / DOWN Adjusts CCT (correlated color temperature) levels throughout the tuning range in increments of 2K COPY & PASTE Copies the current lamp s settings from one Lumenetix lamp and pastes it onto another Lumenetix lamp MODE Toggles between LCT control modes Mode Description CCT & DIMMING MODE: Adjust CCT and brightness levels SATURATION & HUE MODE: Adjusts Saturation levels from 0-100% in increments of 1% and Hue settings from 0-60 SceneSet MODE: Sets, stores and activates five preset scenes. SCENE PRESETS can also be copied from one Lumenetix lamp and pasted onto another Lumenetix lamp. Inserting the Batteries Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote control by pushing the tab in and sliding the cover down Insert 3 AAA batteries ensuring that the positive and negative terminals are correctly matched Replace the battery cover Network Scan to Discover Lamps Press and hold the SCAN SELECT button for two seconds. When the scanning indicator appears in the display, release the SCAN SELECT button. The display indicates that the Light Commissioning Tool is scanning the network to discover all lamps Once discovery is complete, the display indicates the number of lamps discovered, assigns a number to the active lamp and shows the settings Select a Lamp To access a different lamp in the network, press SCAN SELECT again. The next active lamp in the network will flash Continue to press SCAN SELECT until the desired lamp flashes 2 araya

3 LIGHT COMMISSIONING TOOL (LCT) Lamp On and Off Press the LAMP ON/OFF button and the selected lamp will turn on The current mode and settings will be shown in the display To turn the lamp off, press the LAMP ON/OFF button The Lamp OFF button is disabled when in Preset Edit Mode Adjusting Dimming And CCT Dimming - Adjusting the Brightness of the lamp - Press the DIMMING UP button to increase the brightness - Press the DIMMING DOWN button to decrease the brightness - The selected dimming level is shown in the display Note: If Dim is not shown in the display, press the MODE button to display Dim and CCT CCT Adjusting the Correlated Color Temperature of the lamp - CCT is adjusted in increments of 2K - Press the CCT UP arrow to increase the color temperature - Press the CCT DOWN arrow to decrease the color temperature - The selected color temperature is shown in the display Note: If CCT is not shown in the display, press the MODE button to display DIM and CCT Adjusting Saturation & Hue Select the desired CCT level. Press the MODE button to activate SAT & HUE mode Sat Adjusting the Saturation - Press the left UP arrow to increase the Saturation in increments of 1% - Press the left DOWN arrow to decrease the Saturation in increments of 1% - The selected Saturation level is shown in the display Hue - Adjusting the Hue - Press the right UP arrow to adjust Hue - Press right DOWN arrow to adjust Hue - The selected Hue is shown in the display 3 araya

4 LIGHT COMMISSIONING TOOL (LCT) Copy & Paste Select the Lamp to Copy - Press the SCAN SELECT button to select the light to be copied - The active lamp will flash - To access another lamp in the wireless network, continue to press SCAN SELECT until the desired lamp flashes - The DIM and CCT or SAT & HUE levels appear in the display Copy a Lumenetix Lamp - Press the COPY button - The lamp will flash a blue light to indicate copy is successful - The CCT and DIM levels will appear in the display Select the Target Lamp - Press the SCAN SELECT button to select the light to be pasted - The active lamp will flash - To access a different lamp in the wireless network, continue to press SCAN SELECT until the desired lamp flashes Paste to a Lumenetix Lamp - Press the PASTE button - The Display will read Paste - The lamp will flash twice to indicate PASTE is complete, the CCT and brightness levels appear in the display Setting and Activating SceneSet Use the SCAN SELECT button to discover lamps in the network and SELECT a lamp. Turn lamp ON. To activate the PRESET EDIT MODE, press and hold the MODE button for 3 (three) seconds. The screen will display PRESET EDIT MODE (in black letters against a blue background). Release the MODE button. The display shows the numbers 1 to at the top of the display. The active SCENE PRESET is highlighted and the CCT/DIM settings of the active SCENE PRESET are shown. To set SCENE PRESETS: - Use the DIMMING and CCT UP/DOWN buttons to set desired DIM/CCT levels. - Press the MODE button and the Sat & Hue levels will appear in the display - Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the desired Sat & Hue levels - Use SCAN SELECT to choose the next SCENE PRESET number and set DIMMING, CCT, SATURATION and HUE levels - Repeat to store additional SCENE PRESETS. Note: SCENE PRESET settings are not saved until you exit and save them 4 araya

5 LIGHT COMMISSIONING TOOL (LCT) To save and activate SCENE PRESETS: - Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds - The display will read Save Changes? Yes (COPY) or No (PASTE) - If No (PASTE) is pressed, PRESET SCENE changes are not saved - If Yes (COPY) is pressed, the PRESET SCENES are saved - The display will read Activate Presets?, Yes (COPY) or No (PASTE) - Press Yes (COPY) button to activate Scene Presets. The display will read Executing - If No (PASTE) is pressed, SCENE PRESETS are stored but not activated and the lamp reverts to the CCT/DIM and SAT & HUE mode To copy SCENE PRESETS to another lamp: - Use SCAN SELECT to select the lamp to COPY - Press and hold MODE for three seconds to enter PRESET EDIT MODE. - Set SCENE PRESETS as described above. Existing SCENE PRESETS can be used if they have been saved. - After editing the SCENE PRESETS, press the COPY button. The display highlights the scene being copied and will then highlight the number of the next SCENE PRESET to be copied until all of the SCENE PRESETS have been COPIED - Exit PRESET EDIT MODE as described above. - Use SCAN SELECT to activate the target lamp to PASTE - Enter PRESET EDIT MODE of the active lamp. - Press the PASTE button. - The display highlights the SCENE being pasted and then highlights the number of the next SCENE PRESET to be pasted until all of the SCENE PRESETS have been copied. - Save and Activate PRESET EDIT MODE. - Repeat to PASTE the SCENE PRESETS for additional lamps araya
