1 Sensex (27167) / Nifty (8336) Exhibit 1: Nifty Daily Chart Tuesday s session opened on a soft note in-line with slightly weaker global peers. Subsequently, the index remained under a bit of pressure throughout the session to snap the six-days winning streak. Despite these negative cues from the European bourses, our benchmark index continued its outperformance and eventually managed to defend the 8300 mark convincingly. On the hourly chart, the Nifty has reached its support level of 20 EMA and thus, traders can use this dip to initiate fresh longs. We expect the index to resume northward trend to test levels. On the flipside, immediate support levels would be seen at levels. Traders are advised not to create short positions in such kind of strong trend. Key Levels Support Resistance Support Resistance Nifty Bank Outlook - (18004) Exhibit 2: Nifty Bank Daily Chart In Tuesday's trading session, the Nifty Bank index corrected marginally and ended the session with a loss of 0.52 percent over its previous session's close. After six-days of gaining momentum; the index finally corrected on Tuesday with a small margin. However, neither the index nor the heavyweights within the index have shown any sign of reversal. Thus, this minor dip just seems to be a corrective move within the uptrend. Short term traders, in fact, should use such dips as a buying opportunity. Hence, we are expecting the uptrend to continue in near term and unless any signs of reversal seen, traders should trade with a positive bias with proper risk management. The intraday support for the Nifty Bank index are placed around and 17800; whereas resistances are seen around and Key Levels Support Resistance Support Resistance

2 Comments The Nifty futures open interest has decreased by 0.63% BankNifty futures open interest has decreased by 3.11% as market closed at levels. The Nifty July future closed with a premium of points against a premium of points in previous session. The August series closed at a premium of points. The Implied Volatility of at the money options has decreased from 14.13% to 14.05%. The total of the market is Rs. 2,11,420/- cr. and the stock futures is Rs. 63,289/- cr. Few of the liquid counters where we have seen high cost of carry are UNITECH, SOUTHBANK, TV18BRDCST, JPASSOCIAT and CADILAHC. Nifty Vs Views FIIs were net buyers in both cash market segment and in Gainers Index Futures. They bought equities to the tune of Rs. 266 crores. While in Index Futures, they were net buyers of Rs. 129 crores with rise in open interest, indicating long SINTEX formation in previous trading session. NIITTECH On Index Options front, FIIs bought worth Rs. 396 crores GODREJCP with good amount of rise in open interest. We hardly saw RELINFRA any meaningful open interest addition in Nifty options. In BPCL Call options, some addition was seen in strikes. On the other hand in Put options, mirror build-up Losers was visible in 8200 strike. Maximum open interest in current series is placed at 8500 call and 8200 put strikes. UBL Since, FIIs are continuously buying in index futures; we RECLTD are expecting Nifty to continue its upward momentum in upcoming sessions too. Resistance of may GLENMARK now as support for Nifty. Hence, traders are advised to trade with positive bias.
