1 The Environmental Science Major The Programs in Environmental Science and Environmental Studies The Environmental Science major requires students to take a total of 14 Environmental Focus courses. Of the 14, 6 are required core courses. Students are to take 6 courses in their concentration area/track such as Hydrology and Aquatic Systems, Energy Resources, Restoration Ecology, Environmental Studies and possibility Sustainable Development.
