1 Application for Transfer Admission Transfer Students Regular Decision Rolling Admission Plan Transfer applications are accepted for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. St. John Fisher College operates on a rolling admissions plan. Applications are reviewed as they are received and admission decisions are typically made within two weeks of our receipt of a completed application. Transfer Credit Evaluations are completed and sent to students at the time of acceptance to the College. Students must submit a non-refundable $300 enrollment deposit before registering for classes at St. John Fisher College. Transfer Application Directions Transfer applications are considered complete and will be reviewed when the following items have been received in the Office of Transfer Admissions: 1. Application and application fee of $30 2. Official transcripts from each college/university attended. 3. Transfer students who have completed 24 credit hours or less must submit an official high school transcript. along with SAT I or ACT scores. 4. Official AP/CLEP/IB score report (if applicable) to ensure transfer of credit. Request score report through College Board using code: The application fee is waived for students participating in a dual admission/2+2 program; Phi Theta Kappa members; students who are children of alumni, or siblings of current students; or students who are reapplying. Scholarships Transfer Achievement Scholarships are awarded to qualified, full-time transfer students. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships are awarded to full-time transfer students who are participating members of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) provides educationally and financially disadvantaged residents of New York State access to independent colleges and universities throughout the state. The program was created in 1969 by the New York State Legislature to help New York residents gain access to the state s private colleges and universities. The program is designed for students who have the potential for, and are interested in, pursuing a college degree but who do not meet the regular admission requirements of a particular college. HEOP offers educational opportunities to students by providing them with academic and financial help. The application fee is waived for HEOP applicants. To be eligible for HEOP, transfer students must have been enrolled previously in HEOP, EOP, or SEEK at another institution.
