2 M&I Modular C switchboard / MCC are of modular construction providing a high degree of versatility regarding height, width and depth, that allow you the possibility of modifying and extending the switchboard. The modular system is used for the construction of Main switchboards, MCC panels, Marine Panels, Distribution boards, Draw-out panels, Plug-in panels and Control Panels. Busbar system is type-tested up to 7000A with a short circuit level of 100kA. Switchboard can be constructed with internal segregation from FORM 1 to FORM 4, ensuring optimum personal safety and operation dependability according to EN Modular MCC panels give the greatest possible extent of freedom and free choice of electrical components. A simple partitioning facilitates the construction with individual motor starter sections up to FORM 4, in draw-out, plug-in or fixed version, type-tested main bus system up to 7000 amps. Besides the greatest extent of personal safety, it provides the advantage that it is only necessary to switch off one motor unit for service and maintenance, without shutting down the entire MCC panels. M&I Modular switchboard and MCC panels can provide access to both the front and rear side, with cable connections from the top, bottom, or the sides according to customer preferences. M&I Modular C Switchboard / MCC are based on Cubic system. They are all tested and type approved by several of the most recognized test laboratories, including KEMA, ASTA, UL, DNV, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and Germanischer Lloyd. With these certifications, M&I Modular C switchboard is perfect for generator switchboard, main switchboard and distribution boards as well as motor control center in offshore and industrial application. In addition, our products are of high quality control and it is a complete low voltage switchboard with many possible solutions to suit customer requirements.

3 Panel Construction M&I modular system is designed based on a modular size of 192mm. The panel can be easily constructed in multiple module sizes according to the needs. The panel can be divided into suitable sections for ease of shipment and readily reassemble on site. The modular system is manufactured in 2mm iron phosphated and/or electro-galvanized steel plate and is delivered in light grey RAL 7035 finish as standard. The doors, optionally hinged left or fight, have an opening angle of 120 degree. The doors and covers are fitted with a patented rubber gasket, ensure proper sealing against the frame. Modular Draw-out M&I draw-out or withdrawable panels for distribution of electrical energy provide the highest possible personnel and operational safety. These panels are available in standard 3-module width section. The draw-out units carrying up to 630A are used in process industry, vessel, oil rig as well as power plants where a short period of disruption to the power supply maybe crucial to human lives, cause large operational disadvantage which in turn may cause economic losses. Faulty components in a particular unit can be replaced without shutting down the entire line up which will not cause any disruption of power supply to other motor load. In addition, motor starter of the same size are interchangeable with one another. Each drawer is provided with a front plate which is prepared for the fitting of light indicators and instruments. By dismounting this front plate, you can have thermo-graphing of the parts inside the drawer.

4 3M Drawer This fully withdrawable starter is available in standard 3M width drawer, and versatile to suit installations of various makes of component. 1M Drawer This space saving 1M draw-out starter is best suited for plant with very narrow space. Up to 3 starters can be fitted into a 3M space. It is used for small motor up to 7.5kW or 10Hp. Operational Safety This feature has had prime priority and is ensured via the cam switch that is always placed to the right of each drawer. It can locked in O position and test position by up to 4 padlocks. Plug-in Drawer Plug-in drawers offer the functions of draw-out system and economy of a fixed pattern system. These drawers have connections on incoming side that can be disconnected with the busbar live. Walk-in Aisle The versatility of M&I Modular system in height, width and depth makes it easy to design switchboard to the needs of individual customer. Standard sections of Switchboard and MCC are 3M or 4M depth, 3M or 4M width, and height up to 12M. Double front MCC arrangement with a 3M width walk-in aisle is available upon request. The overall depth of the double front MCC is 9M. The aisle is provided with fluorescent lighting, and removable panel at rear of each vertical section with IP31 degree of protection to prevent accidentally contacting the energized bus system.

One system - All possibilities The Multi Drawer is used world-wide where electrical energy is distributed with the highest possible personal and operational safety; typically within the process industry, mining, navigation, hospitals, infrastructure etc., where even a short interruption of the electricity supply may be crucial to human lives and cause huge operational disadvantages and economic losses. The Multi Drawer system provides the possibility to offer versatile and compact solutions, which simultaneously meet the end-user s demand for a competitive product. The Multi Drawer is fitted with specially designed handles that provide the panel with an innovative design - adjusted to the modern company. Multi Drawer The Multi Drawer is designed with optimum utilization of the space in the panel and with possibility of choosing drawers in sizes from 16A to 630A. The MD-drawers are prepared for installation of all bus systems on the market, incl. future use of Ethernet. The Multi Drawer is available with either fixed front or with hinged door. Besides, the two types of front can be combined. Common for both solutions are that the coverings can be removed while the drawer is in operation, which makes it easier to thermo photograph and adjust the relays.

9 MD - MULTI DRAWER Optional accessories Having focused on maximum versatility, the MD basic drawer can be extended with a wide range of accessories so that it will meet the wishes and needs of the end-user. Mounting plates Nine different sizes of mounting plates are available. The fitting in the drawers can take place in the pre-drilled holes both in the bottom and in the left side in steps of 32 mm. Cable boxes for Multi Drawer Regarding Form 4B solutions there is a cable box for the outlet terminal. The front is either supplied in steel or in poly-carbonate for optimal covering and thermo photographing of the terminals. Aux. switch It is possible to install an aux. switch in Multi Drawer that can be used to switch off the aux. circuit before pulling out the MD-drawer. The interlock supplied with Multi Drawer is suited for the aux. switch. Position indication It is possible to fit a switch in the Multi Drawer, and in combination with a connection in the aux. plug you can obtain feedback regarding the position of the drawer. Auxiliary circuits (control) Aux. circuits can be made as traditional wiring and screened cable all the way to the components in the drawer. Both ways can be integrated by means of multi-plugs, which are also used for main circuits up to 63A. The modular multi-plug has many advantages and is available with a.o.: Outlet plug The MD 3xX drawers can be fitted with outlet plug, so that the drawer together with the outlet terminal is fully extractable. The MD-drawers can also be fitted with fixed power cables and control cables at outlets, and all the various possibilities can be combined in the same section.
