2 Requirements Current CPR/First Aid Certification Enrolled at EPCC Must have and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA Must complete this all of this packet Dress Code Game day attire is khaki pants/ shorts and an EPCC sports medicine polo. (Cold/rain weather you may wear sweats/jackets/sweaters to help keep warm and dry.) Caps outside only Shorts are permitted if they are mid-thigh and don t have holes or tears in them Jeans with no holes or tears are permitted in the training room other than game days Only EPCC shirts are permitted in the Training Room and at practices (you will receive shirts on the first day of practices) Tennis shoes are the only shoes permitted. No flip flops, boots, sandals, etc. No hickys. Tattoos or piercings are to be covered Rules If you will be gone from games or practices you must tell the head trainer one week before the day you will be missing and how long you will be gone. o Excused absences: doctor s apt (requires doctors note), tutoring, sick day (allowed 3), class, etc. If your GPA drops below a 2.5 your scholarship will be taken away and you will be on probation until you get your grade up. If your grade does not improve, you will be suspended from the Training Room until further notice. If your grades make you ineligible you cannot travel with the teams. When traveling with teams you are to listen to the head trainer or coaches if the head trainer isn t traveling. You are to be on your best behavior as you are an extension of EPCC and representing EPCC Sport Medicine. You are to not post anything vulgar, or inappropriate on social media while wearing the EPCC logos. You are to be professional with the athletes while on duty as a student athletic trainer. When you are out at practices or games you are to pay attention and not be on your phone. Always carry your med-pack with you in case of emergency. Any other rules by the head trainer will be abided by or they will be sent home and/or suspended from the training room.
