Chain nose pliers Pay instructor a supply fee in addition to the cost of the class. Supply fee is listed in the course description LEARN TO CROCHET Tamie Jamison, Instructor Bring only a pencil and piece of paper to class, our instructor will bring supplies the first night to get you started learning to knit and send you home with a supply list for the following week. 2 LEARN TO SEW APRONS Isabella Silvan, Instructor Materials: Pattern: Simplicity #3949 view A. Enough fabric to complete the project. Read the back of the pattern envelope, find your size, choose adult size or child size apron, and locate the number of yards you need in the width of fabric you are buying. When in doubt, buy a little extra (¼ yard) never a little less. NOTE: The pattern calls for 7/8 yards of 45 inch and a maximum of 1 3/4 yards for the adult apron for a total of 2 5/8 yards. Please Pre-wash your fabric before class. Thread color to match your fabric. Tools: 1. Working sewing machine with foot pedal! (Instruction manual is nice too, if you have it (optional)) 2. A pair of 8 inch scissors, sharp ones meant for fabric not paper. 3. Straight pins. I like the long quilter s pins. They make the job easier, but if you have the short ones, they will work OK. 4. Dress maker s tape measure. 5. Extra sewing machine needles, sizes Sometimes needles break. They come in multi packs Singer needles for Singer machines, Schmetz needles for all other sewing machines. 6. Extra empty bobbins for your sewing machine. 7. Pin cushion. 8. Hem gauge. 9. Hand sewing needles, 1 package. 10. Iron 11. Notebook paper and pencil for making notes for yourself

5 WATERCOLOR PAINTING AND MIXED MEDIA Chris Blevins, Instructor What to bring: Yourself, ready to have some fun! Small water mister (small with a fine spray). Dollar Stores and Hair/Beauty Supply stores are great places to find these. 2 water containers cottage cheese type containers work fine, but anything similar you have around the house will work New #2 pencil (needs to have a fresh eraser). If not new, a separate eraser (white plastic erasers or gum erasers are my favorites Paper towels (Viva brand is my fave, but any will do!) A plastic grocery sack or something similar to tape to the table and collect your used pieces of paper towel Blow dryer Masking tape keep it narrow in width (1 inch max). Blue painter s tape you can find at hardware stores, paint section, works great. $20 to pay the instructor a materials fee for everything else. If you have your own paints, brushes, palette, paper, etc., feel free to bring what you have and we ll negotiate a reduced materials fee.
