I Saw Three Ships I saw three ships come sailing by on Christmas Day, on Christmas Day. I saw three ships come sailing by on Christmas Day in the morning. And what was in those ships all three on Christmas Day, on Christmas Day? And what was in those ships all three on Christmas Day in the morning? The Virgin Mary and Christ were there on Christmas Day, on Christmas Day. The virgin Mary and Christ were there on Christmas Day in the morning. We Wish You a Merry Christmas We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Good tidings we bring to you and your kin; Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year. Oh, bring us a figgy pudding; Oh, bring us a figgy pudding; Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer: Refrain We won't go until we get some; We won't go until we get some; We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here: Refrain We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas;
Joy to the World Joy to the world! the Lord is come; Let earth receive her King; Let every heart prepare Him room, and heaven and nature sing, and heaven and nature sing, and heaven, and heaven and nature sing. Joy to the earth! the Savior reigns; Let men their songs employ; while fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat, repeat the sounding joy. No more let sins and sorrows grow, nor thorns infest the ground; He comes to make His blessing flow far as the curse is found, far as the curse is found, far as, far as the curse is found. He rules the world with truth and grace, and makes the nations prove the glories of His righteousness, and wonders of His love, and wonders of His love, and wonders, wonders of His love. White Christmas I'm dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the treetops glisten, and children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow I'm dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white I'm dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white
Sleigh Ride Just hear those sleigh bells jingling Ring ting tingling too. Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you. Outside the snow is falling And friends are calling "Yoo hoo." Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you. Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, Let's go, Let's look at the show, We're riding in a wonderland of snow. Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, It's grand, Just holding your hand, We're gliding along with a song Of a wintry fairy land. Our cheeks are nice and rosy And comfy cozy are we We're snuggled up together Like two birds of a feather would be Let's take that road before us And sing a chorus or two Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you. There's a birthday party At the home of Farmer Gray It'll be the perfect ending a perfect day We'll be singing the songs We love to sing without a single stop, At the fireplace while we watch The chestnuts pop. Pop! pop! pop! There's a happy feeling Nothing in the world can buy, When they pass around the chocolate And the pumpkin pie It'll nearly be like a picture print By Currier and Ives These wonderful things are the things We remember all through our lives! Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, Ring ting tingling too Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you, Outside the snow is falling And friends are calling "Yoo hoo," Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you. Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, Let's go, Let's look at the show, We're riding in a wonderland of snow. Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, It's grand, Just holding your hand, We're gliding along with a song Of a wintry fairy land. Our cheeks are nice and rosy And comfy cozy are we We're snuggled up together Like two birds of a feather would be Let's take that road before us And sing a chorus or two Come on, it's lovely weather To sleigh ride with you
Silver Bells City sidewalks, busy sidewalks Dressed in holiday style. In the air There's a feeling of Christmas. Children laughing People passing Meeting smile after smile And on ev'ry street corner you'll hear, Silver bells, silver bells It's Christmas time in the city. Ring-a-ling, hear them sing. Soon it will be Christmas day. Strings of street lights Even stop lights Blink a bright red and green As the shoppers rush Home with their treasures. Hear the snow crunch. See the kids bunch. This is Santa's big scene. And above all this bustle You'll hear, Silver bells, silver bells It's Christmas time in the city Ring-a-ling, hear them sing Soon it will be Christmas day. I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day I heard the bells on Christmas day Their old familiar carols play And mild and sweet the words repeat, Of peace on earth, good will to men. I thought how as the day had come, The belfries of all Christendom Had roll'd along th' unbroken song Of peace on earth, good will to men. And in despair I bow'd my head: "There is no peace on earth," I said, "For hate is strong, and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men." Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: "God is not dead, nor doth He sleep; The wrong shall fail, the right prevail, With peace on earth, good will to men." 'Til ringing, singing on its way, The world revolved from night to day, A voice, a chime, a chant sublime, Of peace on earth, good will to men!
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Let your heart be light From now on, our troubles will be out of sight Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Make the Yule-tide gay, From now on, our troubles will be miles away. Here we are as in olden days, Happy golden days of yore. Faithful friends who are dear to us Gather near to us once more. Through the years We all will be together, If the Fates allow Hang a shining star upon the highest bough. And have yourself A merry little Christmas now. Deck the Halls Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Refrain Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la, la la la, la la la. Troll the ancient Yule tide carol, Fa la la la la, la la la la. See the blazing Yule before us, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Strike the harp and join the chorus. Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Oh Christmas Tree O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree! How are thy leaves so verdant! O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, How are thy leaves so verdant! Not only in the summertime, But even in winter is thy prime. O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, How are thy leaves so verdant! O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Much pleasure doth thou bring me! O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Much pleasure doth thou bring me! For every year the Christmas tree, Brings to us all both joy and glee. O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Much pleasure doth thou bring me! O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Thy candles shine out brightly! O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Thy candles shine out brightly! Each bough doth hold its tiny light, That makes each toy to sparkle bright. O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Thy candles shine out brightly! Santa Claus Is Coming to Town You better watch out You better not cry Better not pout I'm telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town He's making a list And checking it twice; Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice Santa Claus is coming to town He sees you when you're sleeping He knows when you're awake He knows if you've been bad or good So be good for goodness sake! O! You better watch out! You better not cry Better not pout I'm telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town He sees you when you're sleeping He knows when you're awake He knows if you've been bad or good So be good for goodness sake! O! You better watch out! You better not cry Better not pout I'm telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town Santa Claus is coming to town!
Oh Holy Night Oh holy night! The stars are brightly shining It is the night of the dear Savior's birth! Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till he appear'd and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn! Fall on your knees Oh hear the angel voices Oh night divine Oh night when Christ was born Oh night divine Oh night divine Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming Here come the wise men from Orient land The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger In all our trials born to be our friend. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Truly He taught us to love one another His law is love and His gospel is peace Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother And in His name all oppression shall cease Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise Rudolph the red nose reindeer, had a very shiny nose, and if you ever saw it, you would even say it glowed. All of the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph, join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say: "Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Then all the reindeer loved him, as they shouted out with glee: "Rudoph the Red Nose Reindeer, you'll go down in history!"

Frosty the Snowman Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul, With a corncob pipe and a button nose, And two eyes made out of coal. Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say, He was made of snow but the children know how he came to life one day. There must have been some magic in that Old silk hat they found. For when they placed it on his head, He began to dance around. O, Frosty the snowman Was alive as he could be, And the children say he could laugh And play just the same as you and me. Thumpetty thump thump, Thumpety thump thump, Look at Frosty go. Thumpetty thump thump, Thumpety thump thump, Over the hills of snow. Frosty the snowman knew The sun was hot that day, So he said, "Let's run and we'll have some fun now before I melt away." Down to the village, With a broomstick in his hand, Running here and there all Around the square saying, Catch me if you can. He led them down the streets of town Right to the traffic cop. And he only paused a moment when He heard him holler "Stop!" For Frosty the snowman Had to hurry on his way, But he waved goodbye saying, "Don't you cry, I'll be back again some day." Thumpetty thump thump, Thumpety thump thump, Look at Frosty go. Thumpetty thump thump, Thumpety thump thump, Over the hills of snow. 'Til ringing, singing on its way, The world revolved from night to day, A voice, a chime, a chant sublime, Of peace on earth, good will to men! It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go; Take a look in the five-and-ten, glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes aglow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Toys in ev'ry store, But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be On your own front door. A pair of hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots Is the wish of Barney and Ben; Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk Is the hope of Janice and Jen; And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go; There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well, The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas;
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of sugar plums danced in their heads. Mama in her kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled down for a long winter's nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters, threw open the sash. And what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer. With a little old driver, so lively and quick, That I knew right away, that it must be St. Nick. More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name: "Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer, now Vixen, On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner, and Blitzen". To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall, Dash away, dash away, dash away all. So up to the housetop the coursers they flew, With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too. And then in a twinkling, I heard on the roof, All the clattering noise of these galloping hoofs. All bundled in fur from his head to his foot, His clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. I drew in my head and was turning around, When down the chimney he came with a bound. A bag full of toys he had slung on his back, And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack. His eyes, how they twinkled, His dimples, how merry. His cheeks were like roses His nose like a cherry, His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, The beard on his chin was as white as the snow. night." 'Twas The Night Before Christmas The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, The smoke went around his head like a wreath. Oh, he was so jolly and plump, a right jolly old elf, And I laughed when I saw him, In spite of myself. He had a round face, and a little round belly, That shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly. With a wink of his eye and a twist of his head, I knew all the while I had nothing to dread. He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, He filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk And laying a finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose. He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all good
