1 Old Testament Flashcards These Bible Who Am I? cards were made by Patsy Stevens at Garden of Praise. Non-profit duplication is permitted. I would not let the Israelites leave Egypt. My country suffered many plagues because of my refusal to free the slaves. #21 I was the older brother of Moses. My walking stick sprouted, budded, and produced almonds. The priests of Israel came from my family.

Joshua and I were the only spies who encouraged the people. #23 Balak wanted me to curse the children of Israel. My donkey and I talked with each other. I blessed the Israelites instead of cursing them. #24 I asked God for a sign to prove He was really with me. I had a small army of 300 men. My soldiers had trumpets, pitchers, and torches.

He served the Lord with Eli the priest, and I made him a new robe every year. #33 I was a priest in Israel. I trained the young child Samuel to serve the Lord. My sons were very wicked.

My music helped to soothe the mind of King Saul. #35 I told a story about trees who asked a bramble bush to be their king. My father Gideon had 70 sons. I was the only survivor when my brothers were killed. #36 I was a great soldier in the Syrian army. I had a disease called leprosy. I was healed when I dipped in the river seven times.

God told me to marry a woman who would be unfaithful. My wife was Gomer. #48 I was a good king of Judah. I asked God to prolong my life when I became ill. God caused the shadow on the sundial to move backward as a sign to me.

I was the father of the prophet Jeremiah. #50 I became king of Judah when I was eight years old. When the book of the Law was found I read it aloud to the people. I was killed in battle by an archer's arrow. #51 I was one of the major prophets of the Old Testament. People mocked me when I said Jerusalem would be destroyed. I was rescued from a cistern with ropes.
