1 Euro American Heirloom Tomatoes 2009 Ananas Noire This unusual variety was developed by Pascal Moreau, a horticulturist from Belgium. The multicolored, smooth fruit (green, yellow and purple mix) weigh about 1 1/2 lbs. The flesh is bright green with deep red streaks. superb flavor that is outstanding, being both sweet and smokey with a hint of citrus. The yield is one of the heaviest we have ever seen. Aunt Ruby s German Green 80 days, Indeterminate, HEIRLOOM Beefsteak fruits are 5 to 6 inches in diameter and weigh one pound or more. Sweet juicy flesh, refreshing spicy flavor. Green Zebra 78 days, Indeterminate. The most unusual variety you ll ever grow. Fully ripe fruits are bright green, with stripes of a still lighter green and golden yellow to orange. When they ripen they turn to a deep gold and develop red marbling on blossom ends that continue into the flesh. Excellent sweet and fruity. Marbling varies from just a red blush to extensive streaking inside and out. What is consistent, however, is the sweet taste that is also rich and fruity, and very delicious. 4 Neves Azorean Red 75 days, Indeterminate. A customer born on the island told me about this tomato. I grew it after finding the seeds and found it to be a wonderful 1 to 2 lb red beauty. Hugh tomato flavor, this plant is very disease resistant and long bearing... Nyagous 80 days, Indeterminate. Baseball-sized dark brown fruit grow on prolific plants bear up to 6 fruit per cluster. 6oz of firm blemish free fruit with excellent texture and flavor. Old German 75 days. Indeterminate. An Heirloom grown by the Mennonite community of Virginia and one of the best ever for slicing. Hugh fruits weigh 1-1/2 to 2 lbs has an unusual boat shape. High yielding great sweet taste extremely uniformed variety with dramatic fire-engine red skins with streaked golden stripes.

Heirloom tomato from the Zapotec Indians of Mexico, this is a beautiful heavily ribbed dark pink fruit. Its pleated shape makes it very ornamental, and it would be wonderful hollowed and stuffed, or sliced to show off its scalloped edges. The flavor is sweet and mild, and yields are prolific. This is a most unusual variety that is really very pretty.
