Scripture Memory Sequence Unit 1 (1 Week) Matthew 5:1-2 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them. Unit 2 (1 Week) Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Unit 3 (1 Week) Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Unit 4 (1 Week) Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Unit 5 (1 Week) Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Unit 1-5 Review (2 Weeks) Unit 6 (1 Week) Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Unit 7 (1 Week) Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Unit 8 (1 Week) Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Unit 9 (1 Week) Matthew 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Unit 10 (2 Weeks) Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Unit 6-10 Review (2 Weeks) Unit 11 (2 Weeks) John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Unit 12 (2 Weeks) John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Unit 13 (2 Weeks) John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God s one and only Son. Unit Review (1 Week) Unit 14 (2 Weeks) John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Unit 15 (2 Weeks) John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. Unit 16 (2 Weeks) John 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. Unit 1-16 Review (2 Weeks)

Scripture Memory Sequence Unit 1 (1 Week) John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Unit 2 (1 Week) John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Unit 3 (2 Weeks) John 10:9-10 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Unit 4 (1 Week) John 10:11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. Unit 1-4 Review (2 Weeks) Unit 5 (2 Weeks) John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? Unit 6 (2 Weeks) John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. Unit 7 (1 Week) John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. Unit 5-7 Review (1 Week) Unit 8 (2 Weeks) Luke 5:27-28 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. Follow me, Jesus said to him, 28 and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Unit 9 (2 Weeks) Luke 5:29-30 Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. 30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners? Unit 10 (1 Week) Luke 5:31-32 Jesus answered them, It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Unit 8-10 Review (2 Weeks) Unit 11 (2 Weeks) Luke 19:1-3 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. 2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. 3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. Unit 12 (2 Weeks) Luke 19:4-5 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way. 5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today. Unit 13 (1 Week) Luke 19:6-7 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. 7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, He has gone to be the guest of a sinner. Unit 14 (2 Weeks) Luke 19:8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount. Unit 15 (1 Week) Luke 9-10 Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. Unit 1-15 Review (2 Weeks)

Unit 1 (1 Week) Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, Who do people say the Son of Man is? Unit 2 (1 Week) Matthew 16:14 They replied, Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets. Unit 3 (1 Week) Matthew 16:15 But what about you? he asked. Who do you say I am? 16 Simon Peter answered, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Unit 1-3 Review (1 Week) Unit 4 (1 Week) Matthew 16:17 Jesus replied, Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. Unit 5 (1 Week) Matthew 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Unit 6 (2 Weeks) Matthew 16:19-20 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. Unit 4-6 Review (1 Week) Unit 7 (1 Week) Matthew 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Unit 8 (1 Week) Matthew 16:22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. Never, Lord! he said. This shall never happen to you! Unit 9 (1 Week) Matthew 16:23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns. Unit 7-9 Review (1 Week) Scripture Memory Sequence Unit 10 (1 Week) Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Unit 11 (1 Week) Matthew 16:25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.

Unit 12 (1 Week) Matthew 16:26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Unit 13 (1 Week) Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done. Unit 1-13 Review (1 Week) Unit 14 (1 Week) Acts 1:1-2 The first account I composed, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do and teach, 2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen. Unit 15 (1 Week) Acts 1:3 To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God. Unit 16 (2 Weeks) Acts 1:4-5 Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, Which, He said, you heard of from Me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Unit Review (1 Week) Unit 17 (1 Week) Acts 1:6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel? Unit 18 (2 Weeks) Acts 1:7-8 He said to them, It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; 8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth. Unit 19 (1 Week) Acts 1:9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. Unit 20 (2 Weeks) Acts 1:10-11 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. 11 They also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven. Unit 1-20 Review (1 Week) Unit Review (1 Week)

Unit 1 (1 Week) Luke 5:27-28 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. Follow me, Jesus said to him, 28 and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Unit 2 (2 Weeks) Luke 5:29-30 Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. 30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners? Unit 3 (1 Week) Luke 5:31-32 Jesus answered them, It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Unit 1-3 Review (2 Weeks) Unit 4 (2 Weeks) John 3:1-2 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him. Unit 5 (2 Weeks) John 3:3-4 Jesus replied, Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. 4 How can someone be born when they are old? Nicodemus asked. Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother s womb to be born! Unit 6 (2 Weeks) John 3:5-6 Jesus answered, Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. Units 4-6 Review (1 Week) Scripture Memory Sequence Unit 7 (2 Weeks) John 3:7-8 You should not be surprised at my saying, You must be born again. 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. Unit 8 (2 Weeks) John 3:9-11 How can this be? Nicodemus asked. 10 You are Israel s teacher, said Jesus, and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. Unit 9 (2 Weeks) John 3:12-13 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven the Son of Man. Units 7-9 Review (1 Week) Unit 10 (1 Week) John 3:14-15 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.

Unit 11 (2 Weeks) John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Unit 12 (1 Week) John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God s one and only Son. Units Review (1 Week) Unit 13 (1 Week) John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Unit 14 (1 Week) John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. Unit 15 (1 Week) John 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. Units 1-15 Review (2 Weeks)

Unit 1 (2 Weeks) Philippians 2:1-2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Unit 2 (2 Weeks) Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Unit 3 (2 Weeks) Philippians 2:5-6 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; Units 1-3 Review (1 Week) Unit 4 (2 Weeks) Philippians 2:7-8 Rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross! Unit 5 (1 Week) Philippians 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name. Unit 6 (2 Weeks) Philippians 2:10-11 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Units 1-6 Review (2 Weeks) Scripture Memory Sequence Unit 7 (1 Week) John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Unit 8 (1 Week) John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Unit 9 (1 Week) John 10:9-10 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Unit 10 (1 Week) John 10:11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Units 7-10 Review (2 Weeks) Unit 11 (1 Week) John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? Unit 12 (1 Week) John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. Unit 13 (1 Week) John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches.
