2 FAZ Ranking 2013 Influential economists in academia, media and politics In its ranking, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) measures how and to what extent economists presented their research findings in the media and their influence in policy making. Research performance on the one hand and its impact on media / policy making on the other hand was weighted with 50 % each. In the ranking of universities, where these economists work, Frankfurt School is ranked # 13. Professor Dr. Olaf Stotz, Professor for Asset Management at Frankfurt School, is ranked # 20 in the media ranking.

3 MEDIA TENOR University Award Frankfurt School takes the bronze! Between July 2011 and June, global media research institute Media Tenor measured and assessed the visibility of internationally active universities in TV newscasts in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Africa, the UK and the USA. Seventeen universities were mentioned at least 25 times, which meant they qualified for the MEDIA TENOR University Award. The universities TV presence was assessed on the basis of ten criteria (including e.g. subject variety, reports on university courses, forward-looking statements, tone of coverage). Results: 1 st place: FU Berlin and Oxford 2 nd place: Columbia and LSE 3 rd place: Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Source: Media Tenor

4 Handelsblatt research rankings: Top faculties in Business Administration research in Frankfurt School placed eighth in Germany. In the overall ranking (including Germany, Switzerland and Austria), Frankfurt School placed fourteenth. The university ranking is based on Business Administration researchers accumulated research output over the last ten years. The relevant criteria include the publications registered on the web portal as at July 22,, and faculty membership as at March 1,. Frankfurt School currently has a score of 44. Frankfurt School did not appear in the 2009 faculty ranking.
