4 Layher Allround Scaffolding Ingenious technology for ambitious scaffolding. 4 Layher Allround, a synonym for modular scaffolding, has superseded conventional scaffolding construction techniques. With its unique connection technology, the Allround connector offers an unbeatable variety of uses. On construction sites in industry, chemical plants, power stations, aircraft factories and shipyards, theatres and arenas, doing justice to its reputation as an Allrounder. The main use of Layher Allround scaffolding in steel (hot-dip galvanised), is for constructive and ambitious scaffolding in applications where conventional scaffolding technology cannot be used to the optimum. General building authority approval: Z The Layher Allround scaffolding in aluminium is identical in design and used optimally where scaffolding equipment has to be transported manually, where low dead weight or special aesthetics are required (theatre scenery, trade fair structures and rolling towers), or where steel cannot be used for physics reasons. General building authority approval: Z Establish the Allround connector: Activate force transmittance: The Allround connector: Sliding the wedge head over the rosette and inserting the wedge into one of the recesses immediately secures the component against any possibility of shifting or dropping out (positive connection). That means: security from the word go, safe 1-man assembly, whatever the height. A hammer blow on the wedge transforms the positive connection into a superbly strong nonpositive one. The four small punched-out openings in the rosette automatically centre the ledger at right angles the four large openings permit alignment at any angle required. The result of superior design: up to 8 connections can be made in the structurally ideal Allround connector on one level and at various angles. How the system is assembled is self-explanatory.

7 Layher SpeedyScaf Simple and fast frame scaffolding. With 5 basic elements and few manual operations, the classic Layher Speedy- Scaf equipment speedily provides a secure base for all jobs. Loading capacities and bay lengths are practically designed, and hence multiply the universal possibilities. The scaffolding frame The scaffolding deck: The diagonal brace: guarantees rapid assembly: the upper channel section holds the decking, a corner plate holds the diagonal brace and tie, and wedge housings hold the guardrail brick guard; identification permits rapid perpendicular setting and tolerance compensation. In the Layher system, you can choose decks made of steel, aluminium, wood, or aluminium frame with plywood board. The Layher decks slide effortlessly into the assembly frame s channel section, and three claws ensure optimum safety. Only required in every fifth bay, as a vertical stiffener for the scaffolding parallel to the facade: a wedge half-coupler encloses the assembly frame tube and so permits subsequent alignment too of the vertical elements. The Layher Protect System stands for top protection as required for asbestos clearance, sandblasting work, noise insulation, protection from weather, pedestrian protection. With ingenious detail solutions, and usable not only with SpeedyScaf and Allround equipment, this unique system offers protection and safety both inside and outside. Its appearance and its engineering are impressive: it provides, quickly and economically, individualised scaffolding facades in changing operations, not only thanks to Layher s proverbial and durable quality. Forget right now about how to get rid of tarpaulins, forget about continual repair and patching up work that interrupts production and causes expensive halts to building work. The Layher Keder tarpaulin System is the economical and lightweight way to achieve weather protection, with an attractive appearance and fitted in next to no time without a crane: a persuasively inexpensive complete solution for the roofing of small and medium spans; whether it s for a mono-pitch, doublepitch or asymmetrical roof, for use in refurbishment work or as weather protection for stages and platforms. The Protect cassettes consist of a lightweight aluminium section frame with fillers made of sheet steel or plastic web plate. All cassette types can be used inside a façade surface. The cassette holder: Special holders for SpeedyScaf and Allround scaffolding make for very simple assembly and secure the cassettes; individual cassettes can be removed and fitted. The Keder tarpaulin: A technically optimised aluminium keder rail, on ridge, truss, eaves and side, holds the tarpaulin covering, ensures tightness, and not least lends a special elegance to the structure. 10 10 Layher Cassette Roof System System-independant weather protection technology. The adaptable Layher cassette roof provides enormously strong interim weather protection suitable for any scaffolding system with spans of up to about 39 m and corresponding load-bearing capacities. A few different system components keep the investment costs within limits. The modular technology and the sturdy quality ensure that the roof cassettes can be used in countless instances. All system parts can be combined and hence adapted to changing building dimensions this keeps the amount of material used low and speeds up assembly. The Layher cassette roof allows material supplies to the site at any point; light cassettes let the daylight in. The design of the cassettes means that they can help to stiffen structures, and in that way save on further material. That s technology that sets standards. The roof girder: The roof cassette: The roof system: Regardless of what height it is mounted, of what the length is of the structure to be roofed, of what spans have to be covered, or of what load has to be supported: the cassette supports handle everything; the ridge girder determines the roof incline. Stability and the stiffening effect of the roof cassettes lead to a considerable saving in material, right through the entire structure. The roof cassettes are locked using wedges and hence are safe against being lifted off. The girders are connected and stiffened on the ground, the roof cassettes placed on them, and the finished unit is lifted by crane onto the substructure. Only every second roof bay is assembled as a truss bay. That saves time and money.
