11 Our chemical society There are more than industrial chemicals in the environment and about 300 has been identified in normal human breast milk (nondangerous levels, so far) Thus, we inherit certain chemicals Big worries concerning hormon-like chemicals (oestrogen-, androgenthyroidhormon-like)

26 Example: Advice about food to 3 patients/week x 40 weeks gives advice to 120 patients/year Food consumes ca 2.5 ton fossile CO 2 / person /year. If one patient reduces food intake with 5 % (for example via 50% reduction of meat consumption) then CO 2 is reduced by ton/year ton x 120 patients = 15 ton reduced fossile CO 2 /health worker

27 Same type of advice to 120 patients with reduced car travel by 5% gives 7.2 ton reduced CO 2 /health worker + very well documented health effect
