Thuraya IP satellite terminals are ideal for those who need broadband connectivity, in any places and operating conditions. You can choose between portable modems, ready for use in a few minutes, and fixed terminals for marine and vehicular use. Intermatica offers data transmission services both in pre-paid and subscription versions, with service profiles specific to terrestrial and marine applications. Other pricing plans are also available, mainly to major users, ship owners and marine professionals. Thuraya IP is a Plug&Play device, therefore it self-connects to a PC using a RJ45 Ethernet or USB port, without software. You can establish a Wi-Fi area in a few minutes, allowing any device to access the modem. 6 Ovunque, per tutti ThurayaIP+ Thuraya IP+ is a very compact modem, featuring optimal performance and ruggedness. It is Plug&Play, therefore it does not need any installation software. Just connect it to your PC using Wi-Fi or the RJ45 Ethernet port. It provides a reliable wireless connectivity with WPA and WPA2 encryption. Thuraya IP+ has a watchdog function that allows to use the modem even in M2M applications. You can also remotely modify the modem configuration or simply monitor it without having the device close at hand. This modem is ideal for the users who need a high performance broadband connectivity up to 444 Kbps at all times, without having to install an external antenna. Optional external antennas are available for fixed installations or for installations con cars and boats. 8 Ovunque, per tutti Fixed Vehicular Terminal IP Voyager Specifically designed for vehicular use, the Thuraya IP Voyager is a Plug&Play satellite terminal suitable for bidirectional data communication up to 444 kbps. The terminal comprises two components: the Control Unit - Below Deck Unit (BDU) and the vehicular antenna - Above Deck Unit (ADU). The Control Unit is installed inside the vehicle. It can be horizontally or vertically mounted. It features Wi-Fi and four Ethernet ports with PoE (Power over Ethernet), supporting up to 15 W of power for each connected device. The satellite antenna is easily mounted on the vehicle roof, using the supplied magnetic brackets. It is characterized by an internal auto-tracking system that automatically points to the satellite. The two components are connected by a 6-meter coaxial cable. Thuraya IP Voyager is ideal for always remaining connected through satellite communication, even in the most remote areas, at a competitive cost in comparison to other satellite services. Unlimited Pricing Plans: Unlimited 144K and Unlimited 444K plans offer a maximum connection speed of 144 Kbps and 444 Kbps, respectively. With regard to the monthly payment fee, once the traffic included is exhausted, the available bandwidth will be reduced or the user can buy other traffic packages to be used during the calendar month, thus maintaining the same maximum speed (see NOTES). 10 Ovunque, per tutti Marine Fixed Termina Orion IP Thuraya Orion IP is a Plug&Play satellite terminal especially designed for marine applications. It supports data communication up to 444 kbps. The terminal comprises two components: the Control Unit - Below Deck Unit (BDU) and the Gyro-stabilized Marine Antenna - Above Deck Unit (ADU). The control unit is installed inside the vessel in a protected but easily reachable position. It can be horizontally or vertically mounted. It features Wi-Fi and four Ethernet ports with PoE (Power over Ethernet), supporting up to 15 W of power for each connected device. The marine satellite antenna has to be placed in a position which allows the greatest sky visibility, and is equipped with a built-in auto-tracking system that automatically points to the satellite. The StreamingIP service is available in the following modes: Modem IP: sending at 16, 32, 64, 128 kbps; receiving at 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 kbps Modem IP with external antenna: sending/receiving at 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and 384 kbps Modem IP+, IP Voyager terminal and Orion IP terminal: sending/receiving at 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and 384 kbps. The StreamingIP service is billed by the minute and can be activated directly from the terminal only for the subscribed SIM Cards (option to be activates on demand).
