7 UVC GERMICIDAL OBJECT IRRADIATORS P103-RRPUVL-012 P103-RRPUVL-018 P4000 RESIDENTIAL The Totaline Fusion is our entry level Ultraviolet Air Purifier which employs a High Intensity Quartz UV Germicidal Lamp to destroy biological contaminants such as mold, bacteria and viruses; it is designed to kill. The Fusion uses UVC Energy to slice through the air, destroying the biological contaminants which come in contact with the KillZone.TheFusionisavailableintwosizes,a12in.or18in.lamp,dependingon duct size. Fusion is installed in the return plenum, limiting the amount of contaminants that come in contact with the filter and coil. Because the Fusion uses a high intensity 19 mm quartz lamp, only one lamp is needed, while other manufacturers need multiple lamps to obtain the same intensity. This is an added benefit, as lamp changes will be limited to one not two or more lamps per year. 9 COMMERCIAL UV GERMICIDAL BIOBARRIER The UV BioBarrier is individual UV Arrays which work together in providing a barrier wall of Germicidal UV Energy which will kill 99.9% of biological contaminants which pass through it. Each BioBarrier has 5 High Intensity 19mm Quartz Lamps which are mounted to Parabolic Reflectors that reflect a full 360 of Germicidal Radiation. The BioBarrier is mounted parallel to the airstream in order to maximize the contaminant s contact time with the UV Energy. The number and size (offered in either 40, 50, or60 lengths) of the Arrays will depend on the size of the duct, the velocity of the air moving within the duct, the specific contaminants to be treated and the desired percent kill.
