A new newsletter from the Timewatch team, offers a range of resources for History teachers such as clips of forthcoming programmes, suggestions for further research, and opportunities to purchase DVDs of former programmes not available anywhere else. The newsletter also offers behind the scenes video diaries on how the films were made with invitations to free, exclusive screenings and talks such as a recent opportunity to meet British agents who operated in Nazi-Occupied France. While Timewatch is not specifically made for school students, many of the programmes deal with core curriculum subjects, and the team are always looking for feedback from younger viewers. Visit the Timewatch website at bbc.co.uk/timewatch where you can download video clips and sign up for the newsletter.
