4 Make a big impression. Designed and developed in Europe, the new generation i20 is quite an eye-catcher. This latest interpretation of Hyundai s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy is strengthened by dynamically stretched headlamps and the precise surface contouring. Our ergonomics experts have advanced the functional clustering of instruments and controls so that all are perfectly positioned for easy, intuitive use. The class-leading 326-litre trunk volume can be increased to 1042 litres by folding the rear seats flat. The luggage floorboard can be moved up or down as required, and there are numerous stowage possibilities located conveniently throughout the cabin. Split-fold rear seat. The rear seats can be folded flat in the ratio 60:40 to create a conveniently versatile load space. Adjustable load space floor. The luggage floor can be located at 2 different heights to create either a flat load floor when seats are folded flat, or a deeper load space if preferred. 16 There s a conveniently flat load space floor when the rear seats are folded down and the luggage floorboard is in the high position. Cup-holders. Conveniently positioned between the front seats. Besides rain sensors and automatic lights, the new i20 also offers the sophistication of cornering lights, Lane Departure Warning System and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Electronic Stability Control. Works unobtrusively with Vehicle Stability Management to maintain grip and control especially on low-friction surfaces. Lane Departure Warning System. First visual, then audible warning when leaving a traffic lane without signalling. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Senses and indicates the loss of pressure in individual tyres. Cornering lights throw a bright beam of light in the direction that the car is turning. Hill Start Assist Control. Prevents unintentional rollback when starting on hills. 12 Taking power to the streets. We ve paid special attention to the performance and economy of the engines available in our new i20. They all meet Euro 6 standards, and have been calibrated to meet the demands of European drivers. There are three four-cylinder petrol units: a 75 PS (55 kw) 1.25-litre, an 84 PS (62 kw) 1.25-litre, and a 100 PS (74 kw) 1.4-litre. They are modern, all-aluminium engines with dual overhead camshafts and continuously variable valve timing. Two diesel engines are available: a 75 PS (55 kw) 1.1-litre and a 90 PS (66 kw) 1.4-litre. These higheconomy, high-torque units are mated to six-speed manual transmissions. Transmissions. The 6-speed manual transmission is standard with all engines except the 1.25-litre engines that are equipped with a 5-speed manual. A 4-speed automatic transmission is available for the 1.4-litre petrol engine. BlueDrive. Combining Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG), Alternator Management System (AMS) and low rolling resistance tyres

Standard equipment includes the everyday convenience of front electric windows, powered and heated door mirrors, height-adjustable driver s seat and a steering wheel that s adjustable for height and reach. Further comforts, such as radio with USB and Aux ports, keyless entry and tinted windows are also standard, and there s also the option of manual air conditioning and front fog lamps. With a list of standard features that includes steering wheel audio controls, CD player with Bluetooth and 1GB storage, leather steering wheel and gear shifter, the Comfort model really lives up to its name. But the list does not end here. The Lane Departure Warning System, parking sensors, front fog lights and cruise control with speed limiter all contribute to a driving experience that is both safe, stress-free and more than comfortable.
